Great an oligarch versus oligarch contest in the US. I guess this is a logical outcome of a system that has been bought and paid for by big money. I wish Bernie well as he has an uphill battle and the oligarchs will do anything to stop him.

Interesting turning point for the US now, isn't it?
You get a choice between a corrupt white supremacist, a total plutarch/oligarch or the most left wing politician to make it this far up the ladder since Huey Long.

Yes, interesting times. indeed... Maybe we should be building a big, beautiful wall.

Please reread my post.; I said small "t" tDSers. trump does not deserve the dignity of a capital letter. I guess I can't assume comprehension from the right wingers. You are the ones with the cultish devotion. I did not bother reading the rest of your post once I realised you did not understand.
shack, isn't it ironic that you didn't give your handle here a capital letter?

Cute. But a shack is an object, not a name so it is only capitalized to start a sentence. It was almost 20 years ago that I joined but I seem to recall debating whether to capitalize it or not. I decided not to make it too associated with Eddie and left it more generic.

Still cute, though.

It would seem that the other candidates don't like him much.
Now he knows what it feels like to be stopped, thrown up against the wall and searched.

Normally a guy like him pays $500 an our for that kind of punishment and humiliation. He paid the DNC $300,000.

What's not for the other Democrat candidates to like - except that he's a billionaire, using his money to win an election, couldn't be bothered with the first half of the primary race, was opposed to Barack Obama, criticized the ACA, and is a Republican?

I found the debate last night fascinating. After watching the united attack against him, I don't think any of the other candidates, even Biden, would throw their support behind Bloomberg at the convention. As a result, I don't think there is any way he can win. Another Clinton plot foiled!

Unfortunately, he is the only hope the Democrats have to win the election. The American electorate will not elect a women or a gay guy, and Biden is so far gone, that it is embarrassing to watch. The establishment will take down Sanders.

The electorate likes billionaires, and Bloomberg is a better billionaire than Trump.

I think that America would elect a woman, just not that shreiking, lying ideologue Warren, or Klobuchar, with her painfully screwed up face and drooping left eye, whiny tone, nervous delivery and bland personality. They might have elected Gabbard. However, Gabbard is a DNC heretic and therefore had to be killed off by their minions in the MSM.

Biden was a bad Clinton idea in the first place.

Bernie is a nice guy, and honest for a politician, but just wrong on so many issues.

And you (and I) and Rush Limbaugh are right, not enough Americans are ready for a gay President.

Bloomberg is a better billionaire than Trump, but Trump is infinitely better in front of a crowd, and that's what elections are all about. And, whether you think Trump is right or wrong in what he says, his strategy of attacking the credibility of the press WORKS. The public is onside with the position that the media are not to be trusted. I don't think Bloomberg, being in the news business himself, will be able to take the same course, so he'll have to try and weather the MSM attempt to take him down. As a result, they will succeed in destroying his bid.

How? Didn't you read the next part about Gabbard? Americans won't elect women who are shrews or dullards to be President. That leaves an awful lot of women who would be electable.

What about Sanders... No love for him?

I thought he was very impressive last night myself.
He was impressive and he handled the hits quite well but he won't beat Trump. America is not ready for his brand of socialism.

They are pissed that Bloomberg hasn't had to work as hard and kiss as much ass as they have to get on that stage. Now my belief is Bloomberg worked hard to make his fortune and deserves his platform (no pun). Politicians like to think that politics is their sole domain.
