Is Matthews a serious contender for the Hart? Where would the Leafs be without him?

A good choice but the talking heads on CBC said that Auston has improved considerably defensively this year and his plus/minus is in the double digits.

Because now Rocky can delete it.
No surprise. More silly and useless posts from the usual suspects. It's always the same two or three members.

Shack still crying over an MIA thread. Get over it already. It's gone forever. (Actually, you might still be able to retrieve it if you do a system restore.)

Young Auston deserves his own thread.

At this moment I think Jack Campbell is the Leafs MVP, and I'm not being sarcastic.

You've done it multiple times. It is a childish, chicken move. It is a true indicator or your character.

The number of people publicly mocking you is ever increasing. You are not fooling anyone.

At least for the last 2 weeks, he is. He has almost as many points in that time as the rest of the Leafs' backups for the entire rest of the season.

Nothing looks more stupid and childish than the incessant, obsessive harassment you and some of your friends engage in.
Don't participate in the thread then.
You really don't care that your bullying ruins it for others on these threads.

You are entitled to your opinion of me.

Do you think that taking down threads with hundreds of posts and thousands of views because people disagree with some of your points is an honourable thing to do? How many times have you done it?

Yea, I know, and it's a very good one shared by others.
But you don't give a fuck about ruining it for others do you.
I get along with the vast majority here.

Sorry but I added a question to my previous post that crossed over with your reply.

He didn't take it down because people disagreed with him, he took it down because you guys were and are constantly berating him.
I can't say for sure but that's how I read it.
I've never done it because it's never happened to me.

He can't have a reasonable opposing view without getting ganged up on.
Anyone that has an opposing view gets the attitude and snide remarks, are you the only guys that aren't aware of it?

TBH, the biggest issue (as I see it) is that he constantly goes off topic and derails/hijacks threads. He may deny it and somehow try to justify it but others can confirm this observation and I hope you agree that doing so on a regular basis is counterproductive to proper discussions at best and just plain disrespectful at worst. For example, and he doesn't like when I mention it but it is a perfect example, somebody posted a link regarding the death of former NHL'er Danny Grant and people were posting testimonials and condolences etc. Somehow Darts thought it was appropriate to post some trivia questions including "How did Steve Shutt become a member of the Canadiens"? The answer is that he was drafted coming out of junior hockey. What the hell does this have to do with Danny Grant, his career or his legacy. To me this is disrespectful in a tribute thread. And this was after being asked to, in general, stay on topic.

Initially, this was brought to his attention in not so quite harsh a fashion however he got his back up and continues to do the same to this day. He had one today, talking about awarding points in hockey games and he is wondering how often the team that wins the coin flip in the NFL ends up winning the game. On its' own, yes it is trivial. But taken as a whole it is grating, and as you can see it is not just I that feels that way.

He was previously permanently banned by TERB as the former Rockslinger for also being disruptive to the board. He has a history. If it was just the drivel he posts and the mistakes he makes, he could easily just be ignored. But then there are things like the whole Leaf thread he deleted that was going on for months, and the vast majority of it had nothing to do with him. But a few posts disagreeing with him was enough for him to delete hundreds of posts that had interesting info/opinions and people had collectively spent hours and hours composing and typing. He took his ball and ran home.

I could type more but this post is long enough already. In light of that I hope you can see that by me spending the time I've spent replying to your (not totally unjustified) allegation that I do not take the matter lightly. I have attempted to respond in a respectful and hopefully very factual manner. There is history with RockyDarts and he can not be held blameless into the way his relationship with so many other TERBites has devolved. He is just as culpable as any. I do not think you see me or any of the other "usual suspect" treating other posters like this on a regular basis. in general, we get along with the huge majority of posters, and enjoy vigorous intellectual debate but for some reason Darts apparently has a way that causes us to act differently to him and him only. My point is that there is a reason.

Thanks for taking the time to read this dissertation and even if you may not agree with our approach, maybe you can understand better where we are coming from.

Regards.

He would be my pick.

Tied for the Rocket Richard, as we speak. His team's got the best overall record in the NHL. Based on team play and contribution to the Bruins' elite status, it would have to be DP.

And he could let Marchand lick the MVP trophy once in a while. Sort of fitting.

Leafs are not successful enough as a group to justify AM's selection.

Well that took some time and thought didn't it?.......Nicely worded

I for one enjoy Darts comments on here because you just know he's going jump the track at some point in the thread. It's a given.

There's a drinking game in here somewhere I'm sure. He's very entertaining from my perceptive.

Not every conversation is in the open forum. I know exactly what several members think of you and/or your one or two BFF.

Anyway, care to say something about Auston Matthews for Hart?
