The King Clancy Memorial Trophy is a sports award given annually to the National Hockey League (NHL) player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and who has made a significant humanitarian contribution to his community.

It must be confusing to differentiate between these two.

But Matthews can do it.

I can think of at least 6 players more deserving of the Hart than Matthews. Draisaitl, McDavid, Pastrnak, Marchand, MacKinnon, Kucherov.

I was trying to say that Matthews can win every single individual award this year because he is that good.

The truth is that at this point, any individual awards are meaningless.

I'm probably going to be eaten alive on here for saying this but I'm not a Matthews fan. The guy's a cherry-picker. Yes, he's a good goal scorer but when he's not scoring he's practically invisible out there.

Define cherry picker so it's clearer what you mean by that exactly.
Cherry picker to me is a guy who hangs out at the blueline waiting for a pass so he can get the easy goal while everyone else is fighting it out.

However, he is nominated for the Lady Byng.
