Police in Portland, Oregon, made three arrests Saturday in connection to an incident in which a war memorial was defaced with graffiti.
Videos posted on social media show members of left-wing activist group antifa, an anti-fascism outfit, spray-painting "Kill Cops" and other violent phrases on the memorial.
The group was part of a counterdemonstration to a Ku Klux Klan rally at the Multnomah County Courthouse, according to local media reports.
The memorial honors local veterans who have died in foreign wars.
Police said they are seeking other suspects in connection to the incident.
Portland has, in recent years, become a hotbed of antifa activity, squaring off against other groups such as the right-wing Proud Boys.
