Hey all,

Thought it would be interesting to get everyone's view on tipping. You can consider answering the following in your response :).

For clients:

1. Do you tip usually?
2. What are the factors that would entice you to tip?
3. Do you tip before or after delivery of service?
4. What is the standard amount that you would tip?
5. Are you more inclined to tip your favourite/reg SP vs. a one-off encounter? Why/why not?

For SPs:

1. Do you expect a tip from every encounter?
2. Do you find it rude when clients do not tip?
3. How much do you expect a client to tip?
4. Are non-tipping clients perceived as cheap/unappreciative?
5. What would you estimate the percentage of your usual clients/encounter provide a tip?

Cheers

For SPs, I've tipped 4 different ladies.

1) Some Asian girl at the VIP "agency", out of pity after she told me she doesn't like her work one bit but has to do it to repay her debts.

2) Mila after my most intense passionate session ever.

3) Nadia Love, she's very sweet and sensual and she quoted me 160h as her rate. I always paid her 200h due to her level of service.

4) Violet for being my favorite SP of 2019.

I'm slowly looking into getting into the MA scene to change things up and I'm curious to hear what amount are being tipped on average to the MAs to make them feel appreciated.

Cheers !

It's hard to justify tipping someone that makes more than yourself imo.
I never thought about it this way before.

I just don't ask for change (I'd feel like that's kind of cheap tbh). I see ma's only, and their prices aren't always multiples of 20, lol. I usually stay in the 80-100 range. Usually you'll get a decent massage and ending for that amount. Anyone who's charging more than that for a massage is probably offering more than I'm looking for, anyway. I don't need body slides or a bj or kissing, for example. Besides, you'll occasionally get that for the 80-100 range, anyway, just not that often!

The ones who charge $120 and up for a massage and ending with nothing else are out of my price range. I tried one in that range before, and I didn't get anything I wouldn't have got for $80 somewhere else. Actually, I got less - mechanical service, no teasing during the massage, minimal touching, etc.

1. When meeting someone new, only when they rocked my world.
With a regular, everytime.
2. With someone new, when I feel everything went perfectly.
With a regular, because I feel they deserve it/they make me feel special.
3. With someone new, after.
With a regular, I usually pay after so that's when I tip.
4. 30 to 40 and often a small gift, sometimes lingerie, a sexy dress. Around Xmas or their birthday, I send a gift basket or I've tipped up to 500.
5. More inclined to tip a regular. Why? When I repeat it's for a reason. They deliver excellent service with a great attitude all the while making me feel special and unrushed.

Never with an indi or at massage parlour when the girls clearly indicates how much each option costs
With agency (mirage mostly): between $20 and $50 for good service ($20 is standard, $50 is rare). Nothing if the experience below average
At Brass: At least $20 if the girls offers standard house-approved GFE service with a smile and good attitude. Sometime $40 if she made my day. Nothing if some of the standard house-approved services are not offered or it really shows that she can barely tolerate me (a very rare occasion)
At massage parlour when the girl just go for it without discussing specific prices (yes, it happens quite often): upper level of what the girls that actually specify a specific amount usually ask for beforehand +$20 for not ruining the moment and trusting in me

I always tip at the end for good service, not at the beginning expecting something.

1. No, tips are never ever expected, but always highly appreciated.
2. No I do not find it rude it all, my rate is my rate. If you negotiate that’s rude.
3. I don’t expect a tip
4. Not to me no
5. I would say 50% tip between $20-$100 (including gift cards). If you include gifts as tips (wine, chocolates, candles etc) it’s more like 60%. I find a lot of clients that tip often bring a small gift.

1. Not at all. I consider it a gift.
2. No. There was just once when I gave 2hours bonus time that I thought it was a little cheesy not to leave at least a small token to say thank you back. Maybe consider if your companion goes above and beyond for you in some capacity.
3. Tips are often 20-100, so I guess in the 10-20% range.
4. No, there are many ways to show appreciation. But whether it’s a tip or another gesture of gratitude, those that demonstrate them get that energy back. It stands to reason A-list clients get great references, first priority, understanding when little things go wrong...
5. Including GCs & gifts at least 60% I feel really lucky to have this many incredible clients and try my best to reciprocate

1. Yes, always, or at least 95% of the time. Regardless of whether it is a visit to a Strip Club, MP or a Companion.

2. Because i wish to express my appreciation/gratitude for the fact that they are providing a service that I value. Many other service you would likely consider tipping for - taxi/uber/valet, hair dresser/barber, bar/restaurant, baby/pet sitting. Its simply part of the respect/courtesy mantra. They are deserving of equal respect as other services.

3. Depends. For a Strip Club, only after. For a MA or Escort, I usually give a gift at the start of the session, and a tip at the end of the session.

4. Depends on the service / price. Lets say I have 2 LDs at a SC, I may tip $1-5 depending on how well I felt the lap dance was. I usually strive for a min 10% of the cost of the service provided, but depending on the value of the gift I gave & the cost, and of course my enjoyment of the service, it could be more/less, between 5-25%. I also take holidays & special dates into account. IE Christmas/Valentines/Birthday.

5. I am more inclined to give better tips/gifts to SP I see regularly, but am always inclined to tip.

I would say I tip at least 40% of the time.

Basically, if she gives me exactly the service I paid for, i.e. giving me an hour of her time which includes a little fun, then I feel like I paid for that service and that's the end of it, especially if it felt mechanical.

If she gives me a true GFE, as in the hour flies by because it feels less like a transaction and more like a tryst, then I will tip. It's usually a round up situation (260 for an hour, I'll leave 40 extra). If she gives me YMMV services that I wouldn't expect, weren't discussed or you would assume costs extra, then I tip for sure. For example, one SP gave me a CIMSW at the end of a stellar BJ (and with my diet of coffee, alcohol and red meat, there's no chance I taste as good as she let on), so I gave a hefty tip.

I always give at the end. For an SP, I try to leave the tip discreetly at the kitchen sink after putting on my clothes if she isn't there with me to notice. Otherwise, I just follow the protocol similar to the envelope at the beginning: I put the extra cash down near her when we are saying our goodbyes, but I don't go out of my way to acknowledge it.

I never bring gifts. It just seems weird, and also I feel like it might turn out wasteful. She could be allergic to chocolate, she could hate flowers, she could be a recovering alcoholic or doesn't want to lug a bottle of wine around on her tour. I'd rather just give her extra cash at the end and she can spend it however she wishes.

1. Nope! I'm always caught off guard when I recieve a tip/gift, lol.
2. No, of course not, as I never expected a tip in the first place.
3. Again, I never expect a tip or anything extra. I expect my clients to respect and pay my given rates, but I would never expect anything more. So any tip or gift is incredibly appreciated!!
4. Definitely not. I wouldn't think any less of a client who doesn't tip vs a client who does. I appreciate a client who respects me and my rates/time/service, and they can show they appreciate me without having to give me a tip or a gift.
5. Something like 20%? I've recieved more gifts than I have received cash tips. I appreciate both, but something about receiving a gift that my client took the time to pick out just for me, literally blows me away. Again, i never expect it, so the odd time a client gives me something, it absolutely makes me melt!

1. Not all the time but yes it can happen
2. If I enjoyed myself and have it on me
3. It depends... If the donation is request up front, usually I won't tip cause I don't know what to expect, unless I'm meeting a regular. If I'm meeting a regular I usually gives a tip
If it's after, I enjoyed myself and wants to see her again, I will (if I have the money on me, I usually walk in with the exact sonation that I want to give)
4. $20 to $50, depends on the regular rate, but $50 is max and only with a long time regular. Sometime, some regulars are giving me extra time without asking more donations, I will then give a bigger tip the next time I see her.
5. Of course my fav/reg at first. If the lady is new to me, I may if I have it on me, but most of the time, if it's a new encounter, I will have the exact donation and will bring more if I repeat.

Tips for me is a message that "I'll be back!"

To me this tipping thing is silly. We are not talking about minimum wage waitresses but professional companions.

I have never tipped and never will other than for food service. In much of Asia it is considered an insult to tip. In other places in Europe like when I was in Germany just round up to the nearest dollar.

Yes it is an insult in Asia but respectfully I will tell you that here, in North America, it's a way to demonstrate that you appreciated the service

Different places, different traditions...

Yes, I have always tipped even though she makes a lot more money than I do.
Another reason is that I thought that was the norm here in North America.

Well I must say there has been a great amount of insight provided in this thread from both sides.

The event that inspired me to start this discussion was a travelling SP that I saw recently heavily discounted her rates for prebooking. I was blown away by first impressions, and so I paid her 10% tip before our session started. Well after money exchanged hands, she didn't even bat an eye - which made me think that tips might be far more common than I had originally thought. Of course, there are other potential causes (i.e. maybe she forgot I prebooked).

Whatever the case may be, my personal stance is tipping is a good thing for any type of service worker. I don't think it always needs to be cash either (cash is ofc king), however, just bringing something that perhaps the SP has mentioned she likes/is special to her, or do some Twitter research - will go a long way in showing appreciation, and creating a connection deeper than a simple sex for money transaction.

I usually never tip a SP because they have control of how much they want for a session. Provide the service you promised at the rate you wanted. Done. If they meet or exceed my expectations I'll repeat.

For MAs it depends. If they give a good effort and provide a really nice intimate time with lots of kissing than I will most of the time add $20-40 depending on what I have on me. It used to be that I would pull out $200 and give the whole thing when the rate was $180. Rates have increased so that might affect my tip

I agree. For sure, since the rates increased, I only tip for exceptional service, when she makes a serious effort to please me and ensure I have a girl friend experience. I used to tip automatically every time even for basic service because I recognized how much net each MA was getting per session, but I understand (I stand corrected) all the rate increase is going to the MA, so tipping for me now has to be earned.

ditto for me with ma. the ma rates increased mean no more tip unless exceptional service. if 20 or 40 is given for tip in ma session just doesn't make any sense. may as well go straight to sp.

can't convey message of no tip in massage sessions. some ma think we too cheap for not tipping
