I thought Jones lost that fight to Reyes, 3 rounds to 2. The take downs and the octagon control were probably the difference, but Reyes was able to get up pretty quickly after getting taken down.

That Solis judge was an idiot. I hope he's not allowed to judge another UFC card again. 49-46 for Jones was terrible. He also had another ridiculous scorecard tonight.

I think the UFC protected one of their cash cows tonight. I also think something similar happened when they wanted to get rid of Mighty Mouse as well.

The Texas commission has a reputation for ineptness. All the fighters know this and I hate to say it but if you leave it in the judges hands then it's a coin flip sometimes.

It wasn't just the Jones fight as you mentioned. The Andrea Lee fight was off too, especially the scoring, as well the Martinez outcome.

Rumble hasn't fought in a while as well as he has had more than a few charges for domestic assault levied against him. Look it up. It's more than a few different women.

Hard to let that one skate in this generation.

Yeah I heard about Rumble, but he also said he wants to come back in the spring. A lot of these fighters have CTE towards the end of their careers at least.

I doubt Rumble makes 205 at this point. He’s into powerlifting and weighs like 300+ nowadays, dude’s massive.

As for Jones-Reyes, well... I had a booking earlier that day and Reyes still got fucked harder than I did. Horrible decision. 2 judges gave Jones round 2. You know, the round where there were no takedowns and Reyes clearly outstruck Jones and had him running away. Joe Solis was the judge giving wonky scores all evening, earlier on the card, Rogan said some of the judges didn’t seem to even be watching the fights, they were chatting with each other. I imagine Joe Solis was one of them. Round 3 was close, I’d have been ok with a 48-47 split decision for Jones, but two 48-47s, and a 49-46 is egregious. There’s absolutely no way Jones won 4 rounds.

Plus, now Jon’s on twitter talking shit about how Dom didn’t finish the fight like a man and was fighting like a pussy in the championship rounds and how Jon should’ve won because he showed he has balls. He was also saying that he dominated with his wrestling (because landing 3 or 4 takedowns that your opponent immediately gets up from is domination). Typical stuff from that asshole. Pretty sure the dude’s a sociopath.
