Angry Samsung phone security update almost bricked my phone

    Hi guys (and ladies!),

I know this should be in the tech forum, but just in case this happened to you today I want to tell you how to quickly fix it:

I downloaded a push security update from Samsung to my Samsung Android 2018 phone. No problem installing, but when the phone restarted the 3 navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen had changed to 3 thin lines, which I had never seen before, and didn't have a clue how to use. I couldn't get out of open apps!

if this happened to you also, and you haven't figured out how to fix it, reply to this post and I'll post the fix.

Gotta love software updates when they screw things up!!!!

Check out the xda developer forums, when shit goes bad they usually have a fix.
They also have custom ROMs you can flash your device with that are a standard version of Android and doesn't have any of the Samsung crap on them.
The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood.
Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

That's Samsung for you. Samsung and Android don't go well together. Don't think it's on purpose as it is only os they use on their phones. I think they are just a very poorly run company on so many levels. I have one of their tablets. Tablet itself is well made but that company just fucks everything up with software. Time is ripe for someone to steal massive market share. I won't buy anather Samsung product as long as I live
