He showed up in Michigan when she didn't.
Didn't he get the memo? Michigan was in the bag. Bernie was needed in California to improve Hillary's plurality.

Bernie may have done some campaigning for Hillary but his supporters did not turn out to vote for her. If Bernie is not the nominee, Bernie supporters are the kinda people that will either vote for Trump in anger or stay home and not vote at all. In fairness, that’s not really Bernie’s fault but that’s how his followers are.
Some. It was actually MORE events in the same time period than she did. And in the rust belt states.

Why would they turn out for someone they hate?
That's the point. She was a bad candidate.

As Winston Churchill once supposedly said, "If you’re not a liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by the time you’re 35, you have no brain."
He sure did love hear himself speak. No wonder the above makes little to no sense...if true. He also called certain people savages. Ironic, given who he really was.

When told about HRC's assertion that nobdy likes him he replied, "Not true. On a good day my wife likes me".

Let's see how the elites undermine Bernie the second time around.

And 70% of voters approve of him.

This is only going to help him more.
It’s not the voters that are the problem; it’s Bernie’s ability to get along and work effectively with his peers. If Bernie ever pulls this off he is gonna be like the dog who caught the car. He will not be able to get support for his programs as his peers in Congress all think he’s a self-righteous jerk...LOL.

Seriously...He had a bitter, divisive battle with Hillary that continues to this day.

Then his Bro’s start talking shit about Elizabeth Warren on their phone calls to potential voters...

Then Bernie’s campaign starts accusing Biden of corruption and Bernie has to walk it back.

Then there was that weird exchange with Tom Steyer where he dismissively brushes him off on stage.

Bernie and his Bro’s don’t exactly win friends everywhere they go.

The fact that B1000 is a Bro kinda fits.

Apparently, they were supposed to be flattered by her description of them as "deplorables."

I've lost track of the number of people Hillary blames for her loss.
Sanders, Comey and the FBI, Jill Stein, Susan Sarandon, Russia!, The Deplorables.......

I'd say his 70+% approval rating and over 1 million volunteers say otherwise.

As to working with him that's what people said about Trump. But any who oppose his agenda down will find the primary a tough battle suddenly.

The people are stronger than you think. The Washington elites work for them, not the other way around. That's the real purpose of the Sanders campaign. Anyone who won't work with Sanders in the Dem party will be out.

His was a classy response.

It's not Bernie's inability to play nice that will bury him, it's his inability to raise the temperature and take the fight to his opponents. I lost all the little respect I had for him when he campaigned for Hillary after she railroaded him. This time, he is backing off Biden. When the push comes to shove, he bends.

So was Trump, but she fumbled the ball...like she's doing now.
Sorry, I disagree. By the time Trump arrived, running on personality and perception was out. Trump brought actual agenda to the table. Hillary had none.

B1000: Why does Bernie always do that move when running for Senate in Vermont where he wins the Dem nomination so no Dem can run against him...but then rejects the nomination and runs as an Independent...and then “caucuses” with the Dems? It seems awfully complicated...I’ve never understood why Bernie does that.

Sorry? It's my understanding he just runs as an independent. In fact after 2016 they talked about running a Dem against him but realized it would be futile.

If that's the case then really I don't know.

Clinton has now walked back withholding support for Sanders.

I saw comments from some people on her own election team staying this was wrong initially.

She really lost credibility (what she had anyway) with this latest Trumpesk tantrum.

Having Clinton speak against him can only help his political fortunes. Not many trust her judgement, particularly when it comes to the subject of likeablity.

People who have dealt with Bernie know whether they can work with him or not, and don't have to rely on Clinton's opinions. If Senators really feel that way, they will speak for themselves. So far, it's notable that there has been no such statement from Warren, Klobuchar or Biden. If anyone seems "hard to deal with" at face value, it's got to be Warren. I think it would be impossible to reach a compromise with her on anything, and extremely unpleasant to even attempt.

The reason Bernie hasn't successfully moved so-called "progressive" legislation through congress is because of his ideas, not his personality or political skills. For Bernie to move his agenda forward he'd need a lot of turnover in both the House and Senate resulting in the appointment of MANY more liberal minded lawmakers. If that doesn't happen, it's not a personal failing of Bernie. It's a choice being made by voters.
