Would an easier solution for the corona virus be just to ban the beer worldwide?USA has issued an advisory against travel to China
I’m not saying that it’s 100% nothing, but it is definitely being overblown both by the media for views/clicks, and by the Chinese government to save face. I could be wrong, it could wind up being a very serious pandemic, I hope not, but I don’t think I am.
No one knows for sure. I’m making an educated guess based on the history of these “pandemics”, and my knowledge of how the Chinese government operates. It’s up for debate how serious this may or may not be, what isn’t up for debate is the fact that we’ve been in this same situation many times over the past couple decades and there’s always this same panic cycle that the media encourages. All I’m saying is don’t panic until there’s reason to panic and be aware that the media always makes this sort of thing seem scary because fear sells. We’re still looking at less than 1000 cases and less than 100 deaths, most of which were older, sick people. I’m just saying, keep things in perspective.
Then what are we gonna drink???Would an easier solution for the corona virus be just to ban the beer worldwide?

China has quarantined 12 cities now.First off, do you see anyone running around on TERB "panicked"? Do you think it is because people took your learned advice not to panic?
I say, do not underestimate or become complacent with any risks with significant consequences.
I also think that governments should take this more seriously than you do. If China has quarantined an entire city, and the incubation period is a week long, it is reasonable and prudent to listen to Doctors for advice to mitigate the risk and consequences.
That's getting close to double Canada's population.56 million people quarantined in China now: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10817933/coronavirus-deaths-lockdown-china/
Talk about anti-climactic. Just when things were getting exciting like in the movies.Death rate from the virus is about 2%
Or someone with comprised immune system problems.Lower than the flu. Also worth noting, because the media sure hasn’t been saying it: the vast majority of fatalities were older people with pre-existing health problems. Young, healthy people are not dying from this
Ontario health officials say first possible case of coronavirus confirmed in Toronto
A possible case of the coronavirus in Canada has been confirmed in Toronto, Ontario health officials say.
The new coronavirus, known as 2019-nCov, has killed at least 41 people as of Saturday.
The disease was first reported by health authorities in Wuhan, China on Dec. 31. Since then, the number of infected has climbed to 1,287.
Australia and Malaysia reported their first cases Saturday - four each -and Japan, its third. France confirmed three cases Friday, the first in Europe, and the U.S. identified its second, a woman in Chicago who had returned from China.
The new virus comes from a large family of what are known as coronaviruses, some causing nothing worse than a cold. It causes cold- and flu-like symptoms, including cough and fever, and in more severe cases, shortness of breath. It can worsen to pneumonia, which can be fatal
I was just thinking that today. If even half the world gets it you're looking at 3.5 billion X 2% = 70 million deathsSome of the news is truly alarming: https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...epidemiologist-warns-viral-outbreak-might-get
If everybody gets it, a 2% mortality rate is giving a big number
Why not? If the hospitals weren't handling it well you'd be the first to blame him.Dumb Ford is going to try and take credit for how well our hospitals are handling this
