This snow polw truck driver could have killed this driver by t-boning and pushing him like that. I see these aggressive truck drivers all the time honking their horns and trying to cut off regular drivers. Sometimes you get nice truck drivers that signal with their all way flashers when you let them in however these aggressive assholes are getting too much and too often. I wish there was an app where you can report any type of aggressive driver through an app with dashcam footage as proof. Right now they make it extremely difficult to report and you need to go through a very time consuming process that it becomes not worth it.

Might be a salter/sander. Kinda looks like a Stone Slinger but also like a mobile "Volumetric" concrete mixer that mixes to measure on site.

I think everyone should drive a truck around the GTA for just one day to see what a driver has to avoid and put up with....

Exactly
those things dont just stop on a dime..that 1/2 second delay because of the air brakes DOES make a difference.
and we have to take into account the load on board too
fuckin near impossible to slow down quick if you're rolling down the highway at 100km/hr carrying 40 tonne of cargo.

I would give most truck drivers a pass...those douchebags feeling like race cars drivers are the worst when you're driving in the 401. They cut off and change lanes with no regard for other commuters...

Didn't know he hit a car, bullshit. The other rig looked like he was going at the car too. It was a stone slinger .

I wouldn't call complete bullshit. The front passenger side is a bit of a blindspot for certain trucks. Likely the collision took place with the truck driver attempting to switch lanes and not seeing the car there. It would have been slow contact rather than a significant impact, so it's possible he didn't notice. There's a lot of momentum behind a big truck like that. He may have felt something odd, but not being able to determine what it was, wrote it off.

Maybe a professional truck driver can chime in. I only know what I've seen and there's a tonne of cases out there where a truck driver has "pit maneuvered" a car and not realized it because the contact was on the front passenger side.

TTC can not cut you off because LEGALLY you must YIELD to him. Always.
You were obviously not letting him in
Not true - it depends on where your car is, in relation to the bus when the driver indicates their lane change.

I have a really hard time believing the truck driver was unaware he stuffed the car into the wall. Besides the screeching tires and the sound of crumpling metal and plastic, the truck driver not only changed lanes but continued half way onto the shoulder. There truck also does a couple of hops when it squishes the car against the wall. I call BS on the driver being unaware of what he did. That's just his excuse in an attempt to avoid charges.

I disagree. I think he knew something was wrong, either from the feel/sound or from other drivers flagging him down, but that he didn't realize he was towing a car. Hence why he bashed the car into the wall.

I'm not defending the driver of the car, but I bet he was driving like a complete dickhead himself. Probably got what he deserved.

All 3 are guilty of being careless.

Are you joking?
Even if he is a milimetre in front of you, you must YIELD

Man go back and re-read your driving handbook

If you are legit trying to make an argument by all means post a crude diagram where you think he could be to cut you off without you breaking the law but it aint possible
(hint if the front of the bus was not ahead of your car and you were ahead of him he would hit your side or your back bumper not cut you off)

You sound like you just did not want to slow down / yield and TTC said F U

You sir know what you're talking about. Next thing TJ will say taxi drivers own the roads.
Ok troll show me one time a taxi has any kind of special laws in their favour
(hint they dont they are regular cars)
The busses on other hand are under S 142 of the Highway Traffic Act
