I miss the old CRT TVs

What could you possibly miss and .... WHY?anybody here miss those CRT or cathode ray tube TVs? I do

I'm glad they died... New flat screens are amazing. I do remember the joy when I bought a DLP though! So big, yet so light!
I never thought about missing it until you just mentioned it. I get it. I kinda miss that as well.

If you really miss it I could sell you mine. It does have some unique uses if you have legacy tech (pong in my case) but I really only use it at parties for that retro feel.
While digital to analog used to exist I don't think its available except second hand now.

Even the cheap CRT had proper onboard sound due to the cabinetry. The upper end Sony's and Toshibas had woofer and tweeter setups inside which were great. That's
the problem with flatscreens, ya gotta buy a home theatre system to hear anything.....

Just plug this in and watch your favourite movies! lol
How old are Betamax VCR's ? It has to be 40 years since they came on the consumer market. Look at the buttons; Play, Stop Fast Forward and Rewind symbols are still being used today !
As for CRTs, you can't give those away ! Donating to Sally Ann won't work either, they don't take them. Best to take them to the recycling depot.
