I wouldn’t be surprised if the wild is looking to move Dumba but would be if they’d settle for the reported return. Nylander has had very good offensive numbers and he may have to be included. I’d love to see Dumba to be a part of the Leafs core.
I believe Dumba has a $6 million cap hit so the Leafs would probably have to ship out some salary.

Could explain why they played Liljegren as a 7th defenseman just to give him some looks.

It's not a clarification. It's an admission that you were dead wrong.
It's obvious you have no idea how the cap works in practice if you believe the Leafs will have

2021: $21,816,467

2022: $32,110,634

in cap room by the time 2021 and 2022 roll around.

Agree, like I said in an earlier post, Dubas has no cap room. So, if Dumba comes in, then somebody or somebodies will have to leave to make room under the cap.

P.S. I think our friend Shack actually believes the Leafs have over $13mm in cap room in 2020. So, he probably thinks a $6mm cap hit is no problem.

"2020: $13,091,467"

It's obvious you don't know English.

You unequivocally said "he has no cap room" with no qualifications.

Then you said "he will have cap room this year and the next two".

Those two statements are undeniably opposite and you disagreed with yourself. It doesn't matter what you meant to say or should be inferred. You contradicted yourself plain and simple.

If you don't want to get into debates, say what you mean and mean what you say. Trying to spin it just makes you look ridiculous.

Ok. let's try again. Dubas has cap room before he signs his UFA's and RFA's but he very likely won't have any cap room after he signs his UFA's and RFA's.

You actually believe the Leafs will have more than $32mm in cap room in 2022, don't you?

There are any number of teams wedged up against the salary cap (after signing UFA's & RFA's).
This is not a uniquely Maple Leafs issue.
10 NHL teams are *above* the cap this season, before adjustments for LTIR players, Toronto among them.
There are a further 5 teams (that's 15/31 for those keeping score) above $80,000,000, within $1,500,000 of the maximum.

OK. Let's try again. Here are your two quotes:

Dubas' problem is he has no cap room.
I think Dubas will have cap room this year and the next two years
That is what you posted and they are the opposite. Do you understand English.

Regardless if that is what you meant, THAT IS WHAT YOU POSTED. RockyDarts, a man with honour would have no problem admitting and owning that that is what they posted. Everybody can see it, yet you keep trying to squirm.

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. His heart sank as he thought of the enormous power arrayed against him, the ease with which any Party intellectual would overthrow him in debate, the subtle arguments which he would not be able to understand, much less answer. And yet he was in the right! They were wrong and he was right.

Yes, the Leafs and Dubas are wedged up against the salary cap and that is what I said. No need to say more.

Too much time on his hands?
Are you inferring that he injured his wrist by jerking off too much? Maybe TOI means Time On Instagram.

Leafs have 3 games left vs Florida, they will be playoff type games. After wetting the bed the first matchup, I'm Look forward to some Leafs revenge.

Both teams have played 49 games. Florida is 4 pts up. The proverbial 4 pt game that went to Florida is the difference right now. Florida is on fire. Winners of their last 6 games. If they can't pass Florida they'll need to beat out 2 of Columbus, Carolina, and Philly and Leafs winning their next game still won't pass any of them.
