I love the title of this thread.

However, I don't think she is fake. I think she is a young naive kid who has been manipulated, with no life experience, who unfortunately thinks she knows a lot more than she actually does - and who has a big mouth. The same could have been said about many of us at her age. Time cures this, we eventually mature, but it does take time.

I agree with Charlotte. I understand a thread maybe praising her ( there is another one ; I believe its above this one ) ; but to make a thread bashing a female minor who is trying to do something good in the world does not seem appropriate.

Why is not ok to criticize? She chose to become a public advocate. She has a clear and pretty angry agenda that, if implemented, would adversely affect literally millions of people. This has nothing to do with her age or sex. You step up onto a soap box, prepare to get some blow back.

I'm trying to understand the concern you are expressing. Is it:

a) Greta Thunberg might be a TERB member, and therefore be reading these criticisms?
b) There are other female minors with Aspergers here on TERB who might be upset that Greta is being criticized?
c) The political views of people with Aspergers, no matter what those views are, should never be challenged?
d) It's upsetting to women when men disagree with their publicly presented views?
e) Women/females are subjected to too much criticism relative to males?
f) A hobbyist board is no place to discuss political, scientific or socio-economic views?

What was the point you were trying to make?

A think a more fair criticism of the thread is that is probably belongs in the politics forum rather than the lounge, because eco-policy is nothing other than political policy.

With all the climate change talk going on I don’t hear a single different option to carbon fuels

The OP did not mention or made fun of her illness. He just considers her as a fake.
This board has many sections and he posted this in the lounge, this is not an escort board only. We have threads about many different subjects.

By making public statements she opened the doors to critique, no matter her age.

You don't know me ; therefore you have no right to say what I will and will no do to help the environment. If I have to put solar panels on my house to reduce electricity costs ; I will. If I have to get a hybrid car that is run on electricity instead of gas ; I will. Global warming / climate change is a serious issue & this female MINOR is trying to make a change. Talking about her an an ADULT escort review board is not appropriate considering her age. It does not matter if it is a

- political
- advocate
