Seriously one has to wonder what kind of messed up parent thinks this is ok
Whether you agree with the politics behind this stuff or not, there is no way a 6 year old to claim another gender unless the parents are real nutjobs filling kids head with nonsense

A 6 year old male child feeling rejected when an employee told him he was a boy (not a girl)

I read the story and watched the video.
The child is just a masculine female, that looks like a boy. Unless I'm missing something.

I went to school with a girl exactly like that, other teachers that didn't know her always thought she was a boy. She's now lesbian.

The library doesn't need to collect the gender identities of little kids.

She is going a little overboard.

I think what happened was as said, it was an isolated incident with one employee. They don't need to collect the data so they are not anymore and they said they will focus more on training.

But she wants a law passed in her daughters name for all libraries to be legally mandated for inclusion. What type of inclusion? How are other libraries not being inclusive?

I think she saw an opportunity to get some limelight and it would be "cool" to be the mom that got a law in her daughters name passed.
