Not unique, in other Muslim countries they were distributing candies in the streets when 9/11 happened.

London Bridge terrorist Usman Khan laughed as he watched videos at school of 9/11 victims falling to their deaths.

Former pupils at Haywood High School in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, told how Khan would repeatedly play footage of the atrocity in the school canteen while performing impressions of the planes crashing.
The classmates spoke out after Khan, 28, stabbed two people and injured three more during a rampage on London Bridge, before he was shot dead by police.

One said he was not surprised to learn that Khan had carried out the attack.
The former pupil, now 29, told The Mirror: 'Khan used to sit with his mates watching footage of the Twin Towers getting hit on a mobile phone.
'He'd laugh at the people forced to jump to their deaths. And he would make noises imitating the sound of a plane flying and then crashing.

'The 9/11 stuff stuck sharply in our heads. It was disgusting.'
The classmate said Khan was reported to the school but nothing was done about it, saying they were branded racists if they spoke out.
Khan was bullied at school and pupils said his extremist views hardened after he became the subject of taunts about his teenage facial hair, body odour and weight, dubbing him King Kong.
He went on to pin a picture of Osama bin Laden to his class planner and was later pictured handing out leaflets at a street stall waving al-Qaeda flags.

Anti-terror police raided his Stoke home in 2008 when he was 17 but at the time prosecutors said there was not enough evidence to charge him.
He then told his local paper: 'I am born and bred in this country and I don't agree with the killing of innocent people. The **police came to my house at 7am and knocked my door off its hinges. I think that's disgusting.'
But just two years later, he was arrested after plotting to blow up the London Stock exchange as well as pubs in his home town.

He was given an indeterminate sentence but this was later reduced on appeal to 16 years, meaning he was free to walk in December last year while on licence.
He was wearing a tag when he carried out the attack on London Bridge last week, knifing to death Jack Merritt, 25, and Saskia Jones, 23, and injuring three others.
Khan's family have **condemned his actions.
Haywood High, now called Haywood Academy, has been **approached for comment.
