Leafs win 4-1 over the Oilers, I don't know how many games Andersen is going to steal for the Leafs. Is there something analytical boy wonder isn't telling us? I still think we need a backup goalie but right now the asking price is too steep.

Big win. In regulation to boot. Last 10 games Leafs still with the most wins in the division.
I would think it'll be Andersen vs NYR who are a wild card competitor and Hutch vs Det who has a minus 62 goal differential.
If Hutch can't get Leafs a win vs Det he might as well just leave the team after the game and don't look back.

Well if we go by points Buffalo is the best in the last 10 games. The NHL values points more in the standings.

Buffalo 5-2-3 =13
Toronto 6-4-0=12

The Leafs have the best record in the past 12 games, 8-4 under Keefe. Leafs are 1 pt back of Buffalo. How big is that game when the Leafs gave Buffalo that 1 pt but winning it in OT (back on Nov 30)?

hence why winning in regulation to boot. No loser point for Buffalo.
That Buffalo game in Nov was the last time Leafs played OT.

Leafs record last year when leading after 2 periods 36-0-1. That's 1 loss in OT. That's a tremendous record. Have to give Babs credit for that. They looked good doing it too.
This year their record is 13-1-2. That's 3 blown leads with 1 loss in regulation. Think that was their most recent Calgary game. Last year shows they have it in them.
