Cannabis lube...guys will get high too...with all the friction.

'For women who have never tried cannabis, this will be quite the revelatory experience,' says HighOnLove founder Angela Mustone

It’s cuffing season, people!

Cuffing season is another name for the cold winter months when singles seek out relationships — because, well, it’s so much more pleasant to stay in with someone than dating in long johns.

To help you on your cuffing mission, cannabis subscription box company Canndora partnered with U.S. hemp seed lubricant retailer HighOnLove. Available now on the Canndora website, the HighOnLove package includes Stimulating Orgasm Oil, Couples Lip Gloss and Stimulating ‘O’ Gel — all-natural products developed to enhance sex. All products are vegan, natural and safety-tested, and I like that both companies are for women and led by women.

HighOnLove’s Angela Mustone told me more about how hemp can help in the sack, and shared her company’s plans to bring more products to the Canadian market.

Sarah: How does hemp enhance sex and intimacy?

Angela: Cannabis and hemp are known to increase blood flow and sensitivity while numbing pain. They can revolutionize a woman’s sex life – especially those who face pain during intercourse or are experiencing menopausal symptoms and dryness. Hemp seed oil is an amazing ingredient to add to lubricants because of its natural, moisturizing properties. So, for those experiencing vaginal dryness, discomfort, or a decreased libido, all of our products help you reach a level of pleasure and intimacy previously not experienced.

Sarah: Why cater to cannabis users and hemp lovers? Why did you want to make products for canna-connoisseurs?

Angela: The first time I used a cannabis-infused lubricant, my mind was blown! I hadn’t experienced anything like this before, and I started doing my research into how cannabis and hemp can enhance the sexual experience. Too many women have had less-than-ideal encounters in the bedroom, and I want to change that.

For women who have never tried cannabis, this will be quite the revelatory experience. For those who are already consuming cannabis; I bet that they weren’t aware of how transformative adding cannabis and hemp to their lubricant or their essential oils would be. It’s the gift that keeps giving!

Sarah: Tell me a little bit about the products.

Angela: The HighOnLove Orgasm Oil is a sensuous fusion of all-natural oils and premium grade hemp seed oil made to revolutionize the way you love by igniting a more intense and profound orgasmic experience. The O’Gel is a water-based blend that ensures an exhilarating climactic experience, and the lip gloss is a super-hydrating agent that primes and plumps up the lips to make them irresistibly kissable.

Sarah: Why did you opt for hemp seed lube instead of cannabis-derived oil with cannabinoids like THC and CBD, like Foria topical oil ($89.95) or HEXO’s Fleur de Lune Intimate spray ($73.45)?

Angela: I have a version of the HighOnLove line with CBD oil and THC, but I removed them pending Health Canada permissions. But the good news is that my Health Canada numbers have come in and I will be launching CBD and THC versions of the HighOnLove line soon. Our hemp seed-based and pharmaceutical-grade CBD oil-based products are distinctive in their effects, but both bring added stimulation, pain reduction and increased blood flow for extra pleasure.

Trouble is they’re oil-based, so can’t use them with condoms. Makes this stuff somewhat limited in utility for us Terbites’ purposes. Otherwise interesting and might be fun to experiment with.

Good point, then using this product with condoms would be considered unsafe sex. For unprotected sex the oil would be absorbed into to the body more efficiently anally with a suppository like effect than vaginally for the marijuana high. Also what does the research say about the effects the on the ovaries or fetus if conception occurs ?

Ahem -excuse me- Doctor.

Your questions would seem smarter if you actually read the information.

This product has no CBD, THC, ABC, 1, 2, 3!

It is hemp oil.

You may as well use Crisco or Virgin Olive Oil! lol

The OCS has CBD/THC infused “intimate spray”. Still oil-based, though.

I think Health Canada would find my questions somewhat "smarter " than you did. Even trace concentrations of CBD or THC might be of concern in this regard. Oil and vaginal sex are also problematic from a hygiene standpoint for female post-coital clean up. The implications of using cannabis lube is the "high" as a marketing tool, otherwise Truffle oil might be substituted for your Crisco or Virgin Olive Oil. No Schmaltz please!

What a waste. Just consume cannabis normally (it is the most efficient delivery system) and use purposely made sex lube.
