Reports are that the triggering event was the expletive-laden rap blasting in the locker room.
The coach told him to turn down that "n----r" music, the player, in his words, "rebelled against him" and things went south from there.
I've never been fond of colloquialisms that include a large number of "F---" words in every sentence.
Before long you're not sure if you're listening to rap music, or John Tavares giving a locker room speech.

No that's not abuse. What abuse is racial slurs, homophobic slurs, punching and kicking players.
Of course it's not abuse...but in the minds of some it is, these are the days we live in.

Far too much gay sexual abuse in hockey. The sport is largely a cover for gay hazing rituals and sexual deviants. You just don’t find it at anywhere near the same level in other sports. The hockey stick itself is treated as a phallic tool by its gay holders.

After the incident, I was rightfully challenged about my use of language, and I immediately returned to the dressing room to apologize to the team.
This is the first time I've heard that he is claiming he immediately apologised after the incident. If true then it kind of puts a new spin on things. Let's see if the players concur with his version.
