Not surprised CNN is a P.O.S. news source that local libtards love. Cnn fell well below Fox for news ratings.

Project Veritas’ alleged CNN whistleblower claims network is ‘pumping out propaganda'

Undercover recordings made by an alleged 'whistleblower' capture CNN employees casually confirming the network's anti-Trump bias and show company president Jeff Zucker telling top news executives to focus solely on impeachment even at the expense of other important news, according to the conservative activist group that posted the bombshell footage online.

Project Veritas, whose founder, James O'Keefe, describes himself as a “guerrilla journalist” -- built up the release on social media with an "#ExposeCNN" hashtag, and Monday published the first segment of what is billed as a multi-part series. The video features Cary Poarch, who claims he was a satellite uplink technician at CNN’s Washington Bureau before, he says, his “dream job” quickly turned into a nightmare due to CNN's blatant bias.
“I don’t care about the MSNBC event, OK? I don’t care about them. Let’s just stay very focused on impeachment,” a person identified as Zucker says in the recording. “We shouldn’t just pretend, oh, this is going one way. And so all of these moves are toward impeachment.”

Poarch allegedly recorded “several” of Zucker’s conference calls, in which he claims Zucker runs the daily meeting “with an iron fist” aimed directly at “hammering Trump” or “Republicans in general.” Poarch told O’Keefe that several high-powered CNN executives join Zucker on the daily call, including senior vice president of newsgathering Virginia Moseley and political director David Chalian.
Zucker, who began his career at NBC, rose from researcher all the way to president and CEO of NBC Universal. Along the way, he was responsible for increasing Donald Trump’s fame when he greenlighted “The Apprentice.”
The duo has famously feuded since Trump’s foray into politics, with the president attacking the liberal network on a regular basis and accusing CNN of unfair coverage.

Zucker is also heard telling staff to call out Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and encouraging CNN on-air personalities to attack Fox News.
CNN did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In the clip, Poarch said he decided to wear a hidden camera because of CNN's perceived bias, and that he secretly recorded Zucker’s 9 a.m. rundown conference call because the network was “pumping out propaganda.”
“It’s basically me wanting the news to be what they used to be -- news -- and not infotainment or a game show or chasing the ratings,” Poarch told O’Keefe. “CNN purports it to be facts first and that’s clearly not the case.
"I noticed after… that there was a strong group-think that permeated through the halls and that everyone was on board the ‘I hate Trump Train.’”

The video also showed someone identified as a CNN media coordinator Nick Neville being secretly recorded.

“Jeff Zucker, basically the president of CNN, has a personal vendetta against Trump… it’s not gonna be positive for Trump. [Zucker] hates him. He’s going to be negative,” the person identified as Neville said in the highly edited video.
The same person also said that many CNN employees want to err on the side of “journalistic integrity” but “big boss” Zucker “f----ing tell you what to do." "You have to like… to a certain extent, you have to follow his verdict,” the man said. “He’s like had an on-going feud with Trump… he’s had an on-going feud with Trump since ‘The Apprentice.’”
Another alleged CNN employee, identified as media coordinator Christian Sierra, said that “everyone at the network” complains about the anti-Trump tone.

"They hate covering Trump all day," he said
Project Veritas, which frames itself as a conservative whistleblower watchdog group, has previously released what it claims to be hidden camera footage of network news producers, federal politicians, and members of private political organizations making statements while unaware they were being recorded.

Carlson had a whole segment on this including Steyn. Project Veritas strikes again.

You didn't need to hear this from another news source, all you have to do is watch the network for a few hours and you will see what they are all about, it's a joke just like Fox schilling for Trump.

Nice deflection and redirection. The MSM has created their own downfall and now the owners are pissed that the media no longer works for them.

I agree that they do , but not the same way. Now many on the right have denounced fox for moving against trump. But CNN is just a Trump hating machine. You can't turn on Cnn and its some form of continuous attack on trump.

Completely underwhelming report. Not a thing that isn't already known by the masses. Don Lemon is against trump and leans way left, wow we didn't know that. Just take a peak at the ratings, thats all you need to see. The Hallmark channel beats them regularly. This is only a guess but I would be willing to say that CNN is being funded by FAR left monies. There is no way they support all those superstar anchors without Non-Add revenue. At one point Tom Styer was constantly on commercials for them. HMMMMM, weird. I apologize I do not get Fox News and maybe they have advertisers who personally do commercials with themselves in it. At least they will get viewed by a large audience.

Owned now by AT&T.

Don't mistake support for the Dem with left wing. They support the Right Wing Clinton Dems and the War Machine(it's their best ratings when the USA invades).

They do have a few Trump supporters on CNN. I will give them that but their job is to attack Trump and make all the Dems look good, I haven't seen many on the right denounce Fox except for Trump.

It has now also come out that the questioner in Warren's latest town hall that gave her a viral moment was a plant. He is a maxed out Warren donor who lobbed a softball, chosen by CNN, and now outed.

When a supposed news organization is thumbing the primary scale, can they still be called a news organization?

How stupid do people have to be to think any news media (or project veritas) is without bias? The only issues that arise are not when they select what news stories to focus on but rather if they make their own 'news' and I don't see that happening on CNN.

I'm also sure that if someone has approached fox with a positive story on Obama they would have been shown the door.

And sorry but I haven't seen a lot from Trump for CNN to actually praise.

Are you serious? You think CNN's Jim Acosta should be debating the President on the White House lawn? I'm not talking about challenging a Trump misstatement or Trump evading a question. I'm talking about debating the Administration's policies. Oh by the way, Acosta's trying to sell a book.

As far as Project Veritas, I'm confused. All I've seen (or heard) is Jeff Zucker and other CNN staff speaking about their plans for covering Trump. That would seem like unadulterated reporting without a reporter or an anchor interpreting it or spinning it.

I'm pretty sure the virulent criticism of Project Veritas' CNN tapes stems from the Left's determination to not let this concept of "fake news" gain traction with the public.

This is a recent poll by Nielsen

Fox News beats CNN, MSNBC combined in ratings, tops all of cable

Fox News Channel attracted more prime-time viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined last week, adding to its streak as the most-watched basic cable network.

Fox News averaged 2.3 million viewers during the hours of 8-11 p.m. ET from June 10-16, while MSNBC finished second with an average of 1.5 million. HGTV, A&E and USA joined them among the top five, while CNN averaged just 744,000 to finish 14th.
Discovery, TNT, Food Network, TLC, Investigation Discovery, TBS, Hallmark and the History Channel also finished with more prime-time viewers than the struggling CNN.

FNC also took the crown among total day viewers, averaging 1.2 million, while no other basic cable networks cracked the million-viewer mark. MSNBC came in second, averaging 850,000; CNN attracted 519,000 total day viewers.
Fox News has now finished first in the total day category for 23 straight weeks.

Fox News averaged 315,000 prime-time viewers among the key demographic of adults ages 25-54, compared to 192,000 for MSNBC and 173,000 for CNN. While MSNBC topped liberal rival CNN, the home of Rachel Maddow still finished with its lowest-rated week of 2019 in both total day and prime-time viewership in the key demo.
In addition, “Fox & Friends” beat liberal morning shows “Morning Joe” and “New Day” combined in the demo.

“Hannity” had the most-watched telecast in all of cable on June 10 with an average of 3.2 million viewers. “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” “The Ingraham Angle,” “The Five” and “Special Report with Bret Baier” were among the 19 Fox News programs that finished among the Top 25 telecasts for the week.
Fox News’ town hall event with 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Julian Castro averaged 1.1 million viewers at 6:30 p.m. ET, while CNN’s Castro town hall averaged just 654,000 viewers when it aired in prime time back on April 11.
