We used to have a neighbor who had a huge 4 car driveway. He wouldn’t park any of his 3 cars there because it was under a tree and he didn’t want leaves falling on his cars. There was a very limited number of parking spots on our street, and he monopolized at least 2 of them at any given time. Because he didn’t want leaves falling on his cars.
Fortunately, he’s dead now.
This same guy with the truck likes to have golf course style grass too. So he waters his lawn every morning. Well the wife does I should say.
Anyway, they have the sprinkler spray on both sides of "their" corner. They want to reach the grass on the other side of the sidewalk. So of course that water ends up covering the entire sidewalk on the corner in both directions. Which of course makes people have to walk on the road to avoid getting sprayed.
I caught the wife out one morning having coffee during a walk with my dogs. So I politely brought it up. Her response " well we need to water our lawn and that includes on the other side of the sidewalk. But I will take your suggestion under advisement."
Which of course was a polite fuck off to me. So when I see the sprinkler going, I took it and move it and made sure the spray hits their front door. I only did it once so far because now it is fall, but I can't wait until next year when I put it right on their door step itself. LOL
