In a recent poll of movie audiences, the people want Tom Hardy to play 007. He's gone on record saying that he'll only do it fi Christopher Nolan directs.

We’ve been over this. She’s not the new James Bond, they’re not looking to build a franchise around her. In the movie, Bond is retired, she’s the replacement 007, presumably until he’s called back into action. Hell, for all we know, she’s gonna be killed 5 minutes in, and that’s what’ll prompt them to go grab Bond out of retirement. The whole thing is a complete nothingburger. Really don’t understand why people are so worked up about this.

Why can't the politically correct trolls don't just start their own hero movies. If they are good we will watch them.
Again, they’re not looking to start a new franchise. As far as we know, she may wind up being a minor character, or one of Bond’s love interests. This is not a PC powergrab, it’s a minor thing being blown out of proportion by reactionaries. They’re not going for a “strong black woman” movie, Bond has retired, she’s the agent they promoted to 007 to replace him. We know he’s coming back, so it’s a nonissue.
How about the people that get outraged by these silly things start their own production company and make their own movie. Plenty of fans already do that. Better yet, they can finance and produce these movies so they get a say.

Same here. For my money the best Bonds were Sean Connery, Roger Moore and ,yes, George Lazenby (watch OHMSS again). In that order. I hold these truths to be self-evident.
