Don't forget Trump said himself on TV, he would accept foreign help in an election in the form of dirt/info on opponent. Trump is not very bright to say the least, I think that's his appeal to many in his cult like base.
The Republicans have no principle keeping him in office.

Don't forget that Biden is on record bragging about demanding(and getting) that Ukraine's government fire a prosecutor who was investigating a company that had his (expert)kid on board.

That's different from asking a foreign government to investigate a US citizen for political reasons. Its as bad as asking Russia to hack your political opponent and release her emails to Wiki.

No, Biden used his position and the threat of withholding aid to "save" his kid by firing the Ukrainian prosecutor and shutting down the case. If correct, the administration asked the Ukraine to reopen the investigation.

Biden - using influence to protect a US citizen (and family member) from foreign investigation
Trump - using influence to ask a foreign country to investigate a US citizen in order to have a foreign government interfere (again) in US politics.

Those are the same to you?

Fake News!

Joe Biden was the appointed US Government's Administrative representative in a broad US and European governmental policy and program to have the Ukrainian government investigate and remedy the situation with it's lead prosecutor who would not investigate the broad and pervasive corruption in the Ukrainian government and it's institutions.

This is far different and perfectly legal, ethical and moral situation as opposed to Trump's efforts in using his position and power to corruptly gain political and personal benefit by offering a quid pro quo with the Ukrainian leader. This is in fact the definition of corruption!

LOL!!! It's within the enumerated powers of the President to conduct international relations pretty much any way he sees it fit. It is up to the Senate to approve or reject any treaties the President makes. Any President has a lot of freedom in those matters and the House cannot second guess him unless the issue is clearly spelled out as a matter for the Congressional approval. Separations of powers, boys and girls. The first clue that this is a bullshit story is the instant involvement of Rep. Shiff who still has not produced the proof of collusion despite assuring everyone that he has it.
The first clue that the above posted is "bullshit" is the "LOL".

Corrupt purposes. With corrupt intent to politically and personally benefit by using his position and power to engage in a quid pro quo with a foreign government.

"Give me Joe Biden's head and I'll release the defensive weapons to you."

Have you guys lost your mind?

If Biden didn't do anything wrong, why would this even matter?

This President, his family and his friends had an endless two year colonoscopy started by the Obama Administration during the 2016 election.

Your argument is with the NYT who covered it, at the time.

It matters to Trump as he has gone well beyond lawful executive administrative functions in addition to having his political campaign lobby a foreign government in a quid pro quo to disparage a political rival in corrupt attempts by abusing his power and position to gain political and personal benefit.

Now where have we seen this pattern of illegal behavior before?

The definition of corruption writ large.

Have you no shame?

It's called:

1) Diplomatic Immunity

2) Executive Privilege

3) Opposition Research
Its exactly what he was investigated by Mueller, except that Trump wouldn't cooperate and they didn't find direct evidence. Just communications between his kid, Stone and most of his team.
This time there appears to be gov't records of Trump personally asking a foreign country to interfere in US elections.

Same crime, more evidence.
