What matters now is the International reputation of Canada and also how our local populations perceive things if he is re elected.

I wish JT had just stepped down after the whole SNC Lavalin debacle. I’ll probably still vote for him but stuff like this is certainly not a good look.

That being said...and I have said this before...I think we as a society need to figure out how people can redeem themselves from these kinds of mistakes...maybe JT could help map out a path?

So generous and noble of you to offer a chance to Trudeau to redeem himself. I'm sure you would extend same courtesy to Trump. To as you say, figure out how people can redeem themselves.

I don't think he is as bad as Trump but just as phony, He's a hypocrite and has been caught either lying or trying to run from his past.

Trudeau's acts were decades ago, while Trump is still at it today.
There is zero chance that Trump will change.

Like the Ad Scam Corruption Scandal of Chrétien's Liberal Party, which is why the Harper Government created the entire arm of the integrity office in the first place.

In fact historically, any of the few checks our parliamentary system has to keep itself honest has been brought in by Conservative Governments because of corruption scandals by previous Liberal Governments. Only to have the next Liberal Government be the first ones to put such checks to the test. Because they just can't help themselves when it comes to Corruption.
