Brad Pitt has found he “can enjoy the good stuff more” since coming clean about his battle with alcoholism.
The 55-year-old actor recently opened up about his struggles with addiction, revealing he started attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings following his split from ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
During an interview on Australian TV show The Project, host Carrie Bickmore asked Brad how he feels now he’s been honest about his issues, to which he replied: “I think it’s important… I think we all carry deep pains to different degrees and regrets, and we’re very good, certainly in my culture, at burying those.”
Adding that as human beings we are essentially “all the same”, Ad Astra star Brad added that, since coming clean about his struggles, he’s noticed a difference in how he enjoys various aspects of his life.
“It leads to a more well-rounded, certainly more comfortable existence within yourself, and greater peace of mind,” he said. “And I find that you can enjoy the good stuff more.”
