treating declines and cancellations

As is theirs. Dont forget that. This is how they make a living. I am fully on board with the ideal of patience between everyone but please never lose sight of the fact this is their job, much like the ones we all hold. You are either good at it or you arent.

If I could make a living an SP then I surely would.

I'd think of it this way - if she reacted like that then you probably saved yourself some time and money.

I have trouble scheduling as well, and I'm careful never to firm book if I'm not confident I can make it. I'll also reach out last minute (i.e. within a few hours) if I can and if the person I want to meet isn't available that's 100% fine with me.

Sometimes difficulties arise from that, maybe they think I'm not serious, but ultimately I am but am in a position with work/family where unexpected things are not infrequent and have to take priority.

I guess in the end I think there's a difference between trying to work something out, and "Booking".

First, I'd like to say, if I could "LIKE" some of these comments, I would've like : Not Jerry Garci & METREMAN

This is our job. Just put it that way... When you book a dentist appointment, do you cancel him last minute... Multiple times? And if you do, what is he gonna do?... EXACTLY. You won't be welcome anymore because you've wasted his time. It's the same thing.

I know a lot of guys try to book last minute, like @Keats... (Let me give you a lil tip here; that's a no good for a great SP). It's limit dissrespectful. What I'm trying to say by that is, it doesn't show real interest, just someone who's looking for a quickie or someone who ain't seriously looking for a good experience but just some (what I call) "Hit and Run" type of service. I personnaly do not offer that type of service therefore I will usually not answer or get irritated because we don't like to feel like an hole in the wall.

You guys might think this job is all flowers, bags and wine.... I'm not gonna lie, it is sometimes. But because we deserve it (or don't , that's another story lol). Nothing is easy. If it was everybody would do it, no shame.
