Apart from this board and things on this board, what are the legal diffrences between the borders?
I always stayed away from Gladwell, as I got the impression he is mostly a pseudo intellectual.If you’re up to something, then asking you a question you’re well prepped for plays into your game. Asking you something out of left field breaks your concentration and your para - non verbal reaction is more likely to reveal something closer to your true state of mind.
That being said, anyone can be taught to look for micro signals, but with the sheer volume of people working the borders and a general “default to truth” bias there’s an imperfect application at best.
Malcolm Gladwell’s latest book would probably be of interest to some of you.

What’s interesting about Gladwell is that he wouldn’t take the least offence to your impression. He’d simply be interested in dissecting the personal and societal factors that helped formulate it.I always stayed away from Gladwell, as I got the impression he is mostly a pseudo intellectual.
He seems to write about things so confidently that he has no idea about.
Although, I guess this goes for most journalists.
