The line is proper, Mahomes is better at reading what defenses give him than Garopollo. He burned the Titans Safety Blitz for two touchdowns.
I agree the edge at QB goes to KC. But the edge at pretty much everything else has to go to SF. Defense wins championships. I am cheering for KC though :)

Are you going to put a few bucks on the line for this one?

Count me in as surprised that KC is favored as I thought it would be SF by a field goal.

I am rooting for KC.

I'm In Vegas next weekend.

I'm thinking SF win but I considering just doing prop bets and no money on the game. Sheets are up.

Despite his time management issues, I think Andy Reid is another big reason KC is favored. I would also give the KC WR an edge over SF and maybe their O-line. KC could probably run as well or better than SF if Andy was so inclined.

It should be a great game and as a Philly fan of course I am rooting for Andy to finally win the big one. KC is one fun team to watch.

I give SF the edge in the running game. Mostert has been fantastic this playoffs.

I don't know if it makes sense for me to bet. I already have $100 bet that pays out $150 because I bet SF 2 weeks ago to win the SB, no spreads. Now, I would only get 1 point which is basically nothing, and I have to lay 110 instead of getting +150.

I may not do the money line it's even money for SF. I'll probably do the over 54. Possibly some prop bets.

I never do prop bets or over/under etc. Strictly ATS and maybe a money line bet.

I'm thinking I may wheel a few when I'm there. Just to up some payouts.

Today has the potential to be one of the best games in recent memory. Two very high quality teams that deserve to be there, unlike some years where some team who was not very strong during the year goes on a hot streak at the right time, the playoffs, like Tennessee almost did.

KC is the flashier team who can put up points in a hurry, so they are never out of it (down 24 to Tennessee). SF just seems like a more well-rounded and physically strong team. They play kind of an old school game. Both teams are well coached with relatively young QBs, but there is more pressure on Mahomes to perform at a high level. Jim G just has to avoid fucking up.

I think it will come down to mistakes and which team can dominate the lines of scrimmage. Can the SF O-line allow the running backs to chew up yards and big chunks of time? Can the SF D-line pressure and contain Mahomes? I think the O-line has a better chance of doing their job, but if they fall behind then they will have to throw more, which I don't think is their first choice.

Good analysis. The KC O-Line will need to play their best game because SF's pass rush will be gunning for Mahomes. Both teams have exceptional talents at TE - probably the 2 best in the game today. Tyreek Hill and Deebo Samuel two very talented WR's. Both teams have good running games. This really has the potential to be a match up for the ages.

What are everybody's plans. I hold my annual (close to 20 years) get together which is severely shrinking. I used to get about 10 guys and get a huge deli platter from Pickle Barrel plus more edibles. This year I only have 4 which includes my son's GF but they are leaving at the half. That will leave only me and another guy and one other guy for the 2nd half, and this is his 1st time coming. I ordered only a platter of subs for 5 and will still probably have a bunch of leftovers.

And what will everyone be drinking? I will probably be putting back some shots of Collingwood and I'll pick up a few beers if anybody else wants.

I'm probably more excited for this game for any other SB besides the three the Eagles played in. Go Andy, get that ring!!!

Here's are some stats that surprise the hell out of me and kind of go against the normal narrative.

1) In the regular season, the Niners out scored the Chiefs 479-451! Granted, Mahomes was out for a few weeks but I remember the Niners blowing teams out early on.

2) The Chiefs defense gave up less points than the Niners, 308-310! I just found those stats interesting and not what I expected.

Super Bowl trivia ............ who is the last person to throw a TD pass in a Super Bowl??

Nick Foles of course!!!!

Interesting 1st half. A lot of momentum shifts.

SF looked good for each team's first drive and then KC takes over an d scores 10 points and totally stuffs the SF ground game. Then the last 8-10 minutes SF started imposing their will physically and was chewing up big chunks of yards like they did vs. the Pack and Vikes.

What adjustments need to made. I think SF will be happy if they can play their power game. KC needs to "outfinesse" them.

Go 9ers!!
