It's a device that helps boost wifi signal, not increase your internet speeds. You want faster internet speeds pay Rogers or Bell more $$$.

As glam stated, this device won't actually boost the internet speed beyond what your ISP provides. But it may boost the speed at your device if you've been experiencing connectivity issues.

Ok you buy it and find out. I know better not to though.
I have read the reviews. Some are very positive while there are also some very negative ones as well. The biggest issue is setting it up, as it does not seem that simple.
There are other ways of increasing the speed, that I will try out first without really spending any cash at all.

Right from the link you provided:

"SuperBoost Wi-Fi effectively doubles your wireless internet signal, creating a stronger, more reliable connection."
"SuperBoost Wi-Fi eliminates all internet connectivity problems caused by dead zones, multiple users, and out-of-range devices."

All it does is extend the range of your WiFi connection. That's it.

If people have increased speeds, it's because they had issues before which are now resolved. It doesn't magically boost your incoming Internet connection speed.

Also, treat reviews (especially those on their website) with a HUGE grain of salt. They're fake.

If your Wifi router supports 5Ghz and you have been using 2.4Ghz mode then you can expect your Wifi connection to use the maximum bandwidth possible on your internet connection if you switch to 5Ghz mode.
As example, I have 300mbps connection with Rogers. When I use 2.4Ghz I get 80mbps throughput on my Wifi, when I use 5Ghz I actually get way more then I am paying for at 450mbps.
The main difference with 5Ghz vs 2.4Ghz is that 5Ghz has trouble going through walls while 2.4Ghz is better at going through walls so if you have a pretty good line of sight to the router then 5Ghz will scream as compared to 2.4Ghz.

Try it and report.

What I know for a fact is that although you are supposed to receive a certain speed of let's say 25Mbps, in reality your modem just transmits less than 20Mbps. There is a certain loss of Mbps by the time it is delivered to your Modem from the Transmission Street box. There are various factors causing it. But I tried something very simple and it boosted my speed by almost two times my original Download speed. All I did was to use a Cat 6 Ethernet Cable along with two rechargeable batteries at either end pasted on to it by Electrician's Tape. The Inductive Current really helped.

Well it worked for me. Even some of the responses to that You Tube link gave it the thumbs up.

Some youtubers post about chemtrails, does that mean they're right too?
Again, it worked for me. Not saying that all you hear on Youtube are facts. I was skeptical about it to start with. Why do you not give it a go and see if it does for you. Nothing to lose and no real expenses as it will take no more than 10 minutes of your time.

so as mentioned 2.4Ghz has a max speed of 100 Mbits and 5Ghz is fasteraround 1000Mbits (relistically arount 300-500Mbits). But there is a thing called band stearing it takes 2 wifi routers a 2.4Ghz and a 5Ghz and after you connect is "stears" them to what ever one is better and it supports faster switching from one to the other depending on what one has the better signal as you move around your house (a Seamless switch.). as to speed I don't know about bell but at rogers we give you 10% more speed then your paying fore but you also have to remember you lose about 25% of your speed by being on wifi and there is also what is called the 10Meg boost the first 10 Meg you download each time you connect is not throtelled to your package so you get your full potantion so this product is dezined to slice a test up into 10Meg bits thus tricking the test and giveing you a false positive you might get a fest test speed with this product but you will not get that speed if you try to download a file or stream a video.

If your not geting the speed your paying for then call us at rogers and get a tech out to fix your shit and if your still not geting it call again there are bad techs that don't fix shit but there are a few good one's too. however if your in an appartment building and the cables have degraded your boned move if you want better internet your landlord is too cheap. also if your on techsavi or start or any other 3rd party your also boned tech get payed per call and 3rd party companys pays 1/3 the money not even the good techs are going to put in 2 hours of work fixing your shit for $10 we got families to feed and for $10 you get 30 min of work if the fix can't be done in 30min I'm not even going to tell you what it is thats wrong cause you will just get mad at me for not fixing it.

Long story short get rogers not some 3rd party provider working on rogers cables.
and if your not geting the speed your paying for start calling every week till its fixed.
use this speed test only https://www.rogers.com/customer/support/article/internet-speedtest

sinserily a horney Tech.

My Modem / Gateway is in my Study-room. But I have a Router that is hooked up to it via the wall's electrical signal. So I then hard wired my Raspberry Pi to this Router, and used Wifi from the Router's Signal to my Roku Box, in order to get the 5 GHz mode.
Otherwise, the Roku could only pickup the 2.4 GHz mode.
