Not sure how much truth there is to this, if true Pep knows how to pick his spots.

Juventus weren't strong enough to contend for the CL Cup this year, that could change next year. Higuain's contract expires in the summer, he will not be replaced. Taking his place on the team will be Dejan Kulusevski, like Zlatan, his parents left Bosnia for Sweden. Haland is great, Kulusevski is his equal...and both are still teenagers.

The link mentions Max Allegri, not Sarri, as Juve coach. Not much faith there as to cred.

Ooops I should have quoted Luigi Maifredi or even Tancredi Palmieri. Maifredi initially built Parma, with the teenaged Buffon as their goalie, and was manager of Juve. Pep played four seasons in Serie A, he wouldn't be coming in as a complete stranger.

I think its ridiculous.

I still havent forgiven you for 2000 Euro. On our homegrounds no less!!
Imagine Fillipo, if Del Piero had flicked the ball over Barthez, instead of shooting, we would have won the Euro. It was a banged up Azzurri, but it was deceptive, the defense was healthy. Not much gets by Panucci, Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro.

Bundesliga teams started training in small groups today. A bit of light at the end of the tunnel. They are aiming to resume play May 04.

It does seem that way, on the one hand I want football (and sports in general) to come back in some shape or form as long as strict safety guidelines are followed, on the other a game like football which is so tied in to fan culture, playing in empty stadiums especially in a place like Germany which has the highest average attendance in Europe, there is something missing that is very important.

Brazilians dont need a passport to enter Paraguay. So why did the famous Ronaldinho, of all people, and his brother enter Paraguay with forged Paraguay passports? Weird. He has been released to house arrest after a month in a maximum security jail.

This is an excellent explanation of the nonsense Ronaldinho got himself into, some really shady stuff and a great Youtube channel in general.

Tax evasion, fake passport, involvement with some shady characters with possible ties to organized crime, during his time one of the best players in the world til he discovered the nightlife in Barcelona and Milan. He hasnt made the wisest decisions in life and not to mention he is a big fan of Brazil's current president Bolsonaro, a man who makes Trump look like the poster boy for eloquence.

Some good news from Italy: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52269265
Also The Times reports idea of using Wembley and the National Training Centre as neutral sites with hotels on site for EFL games to be played behind closed doors as and when they are able to re-start. This is likely to depend on several factors and notably the availability of testing kits to allow each team and all the support staff to be tested twice weekly.

Ronaldinho, Luis Suarez and most of all Diego Maradona all came out of areas of extreme poverty, with the great wealth they achieved there were bound to be blemishes. There is no difference between Ronnie the Cowboy's home region and Paraguay.

I don't share your optimism about the return of football, much less Serie A. Fabio and Maestro Skype, Fabio is easier to understand than Maestro with his heavy East Lombardese accent, the Brescia area got hit very hard from the contagion. Roberto Baggio and Mario Balotelli are also from the area. There's supposed to be a friendly at Wembley between England and Italy at the end of May, that probably wont happen either.

This is actually quite funny, Maestro has a dry sense of humour.
