What was really disgraceful was his teammates instead of showing solidarity and walking off the pitch with him decided to persuade him to stay. No human being should ever be subjected to this kind of treatment and it's not taken at all seriously in certain parts of Europe (eastern and southern Europe, Italy, Spain) until hell is unleashed on these clubs (stadium closures over a period of time, point deduction and huge fines) it'll continue unabated.

I agree with you, although I would like England to win it. But do not discount France who can step up to the plate on the day.
England lacks a creative midfield, and have players that switch off or on depending on the team selection. The one thing in their favour are the youngsters that have the pace to outrun the defenders.
Though I also like the Dutch in the manner that they have been transcending to be one of the top nations, somehow their biggest rivals called Belgium are still a step ahead of them.
