I wouldn't say that Dane, Kjaer has been an improvement over what they had before, Musachio wasn't getting it done. He's certainly playing better at Milan than he was at Roma. He had a dip in form early in his career, he looked like a world class defender when he was a Palermo. He missed his assignment against Lukaku but he didn't get support either. Neither Romagnioli nor Kjaer played that badly, it was a case of Inter's superior midfield overcoming the obstacles the Rossoneri presented in the first half.

Btw Inter lost to Napoli in the Italian Cup.
I hope you are right about Simon Kjar, he is needed on the Danish national team, although AC has played well lately.

PS: Kjaer did very well in the game against Juve.

Man City banned from the champions league for 2 seasons due to breaching FFP. Lol. Their fake oil trophies should be declared null and void as well.

Now the rumour that Pep will go to Juve might come true.

It's about fucking time, when Roma got dinged Liverpool poached Salah and Alisson. Last summer Milan choose to opt out of the Europa League than sell Romagnioli.

Pep to Juve, fuck no...this is who should be coaching Juve. Who is this guy, he's spot on!

I couldn't find Antonio Ferruchi's spoof of Sarri, he's the one who gave John Terry a condom when Chelsea were in Napoli. Terry, to his credit, was a good sport about it and took the prophylactic.

This is fake, taken from Conte's Calciopoli rant...Conte should have punched Diego Costa's lights out.

While Italy's economy continues to stagnate, Milano is booming.

In 2015, they held the most successful Expo of recent times, turning a substantial profit. Plans are under way for a new San Siro and in 2026 it will host the Winter Olympics in 2026. After rewarding the Mao Princelings in 2022, the IOC needed a glitzy host more than Milano needed them. I hope I'm around to see it. I wonder if the NHL will send professional players? They should be able to turn a profit from that as well, most of the infrastructure is already in place. Cortina held the Winter Olympics before, all they need to build is a new ski jump and an ice bocce club.

Conte could potentially use 3-4-1-2 formation with Eriksen behind Lukaku-Lautaro against Lazio
SERIE A

There are two doubts regarding the starting lineup of Inter facing Lazio this weekend. On the right side, Antonio Candreva has slight advantage over Danilo D’Ambrosio while in the midfield Christian Eriksen is the favorite to start over Matias Vecino. If this is the case, the formation of Antonio Conte would be 3-4-1-2 according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

INTER (3-4-1-2): Padelli; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Candreva, Barella, Brozovic, Young; Eriksen; Lukaku, Lautaro.

Citeh will obviously appeal the decision and the smart $ is on a token fine and a slap on the wrist. A couple of suitcases full of legal tender are probably on there way! :bolt:

PSG will be following this rather closely

If City get through this with just a kiss on the wrist then a Super League will be inevitable. That will see the decline of the sport in general.

Roma and Ac Milan sold significant talent to avoid FFP penalties, if the law becomes a cudgel against smaller clubs most of them will go bankrupt. PSG spends more than the rest of Ligue 1 combined - and then some.

Supporter of neither but I am a proud owner of the old Milan and Inter jerseys with collars which make them into shirts. Bought the Milan one for my then girlfriend as well and we rocked them together at the bars between Eglinton and Oxford on Yonge during World Cup 2014. That summer with that girl is the most fun I have ever had :)
..... and then you married her.

I watched Inter Lazio. I thought Inter played very pedestrian soccer. Who knows what Eriksen could have contributed, but Inter definitely needs some creativity in it's play.

Against Milinkovic-Savic, Eriksen wasn't going to do much. Not sure why Conte went with Godin instead of Bastoni? I hope Lazio win the Scudetto.

My point is he could not have done worse. Inter needed more creativity in its game (today) and Eriksen has often been able to provide creative passes to the forwards.

DeLigt benched again. I suspect thats the end for him at Juve for now, and he'll be loaned out

Chiellini returns, substituted in for Bonucci. Rugani has been the forgotten man, he deserved his chance and played well. Big risk by Sarri to put CR7 on load management, it paid off with Dybala leading the offense. Higuain's contract expires in the summer, I doubt it will be renewed. With Kulusevski coming and the possible return of Moise Kean.

Agreed that Eriksen is a great creative player but when Milinkovic Savic is on his game, he's unstoppable. Not a chance that Eriksen or anyone else is going to slow him down, he's just announced himself as a global superstar - and he's only 24. I hope Lazio can keep him?

Except for his ball striking, Eriksen is average, which is why Conte has him coming off the bench.
Average in which group?

Conte explained why he did not use Eriksen more in the post game press briefing.
