I've been hobbying now for a total of 21 years. I am now in my sixties. I work out at the gym, try to watch what I eat and generally try to take decent care of myself simply because, as an older man, I want to look reasonably presentable to the ladies I have encounters with. Thankfully, I think I've been successful based on the way I've been treated. Either that or they're all good actors which is possible. But what the heck. If I'm fooling myself, so be it.

This little story begins two years ago when I was with this gorgeous Asian MPA but my performance was not good. I had hoped it was a one time thing but the same thing happened again, then again, then became a pattern which ruined my confidence. I just couldn't get properly 'aroused'. Mr. Happy wasn't co-operating. It got so bad, I began to feel that hobbying was now just a waste of good money and I actually gave it up for almost a year. I was miserable. I missed the excitement and the sheer fun of meeting beautiful girls. I knew I had to do something.

I started researching solutions - both chemical and holistic. I looked into stuff like Ginseng, Horny Goat Weed etc. but there's no guarantee and you have to take the tablets for several weeks before you notice any effects, whatever they may be and however miniscule. I decided to talk to my doctor in confidence - but not my family doctor. I went to a doctor I knew from a walk-in clinic. He always struck me as a very nice guy, very attentive and non-judgemental. I went to see him and I told him my problem. He suggested Cialis, 20mg to be broken in half into 10mg and taken one hour before sexual activity.

I got a package of 6 tabs. It's not covered by any insurance so it cost me almost $120 which would mean 6 tabs x 2 = 12 encounters.

On the day of my first trial, I took the half pill with water. I could feel it stuck in my throat for sometime, so I kept drinking water. I waited about 50 minutes and drove over to my favourite MP. Please note, I wasn't feeling anything down there yet since the instructions say you won't get an 'automatic' arousal but when you do need it, you'll get it.

I saw a girl I had seen once before when I was still 'floppy'. I went to see her because she was great and wouldn't give up on me when I 'stalled out' the previous time. Hopefully this time would be different.

Well, it was.

As I lay on my stomach on the table, I could feel the excitement building. Mr. Happy was starting to respond. When my lady began to touch and tease, I knew I was going to be my old self again. Mr. Happy was like a rock and co-operated completely. Without going into details, both my MPA and me got off beautifully and I was very pleased.

Of course, there is a downside to all this. Not long after I left the MP, my head began to feel like it was stuffed up and I had this constant dizzy feeling. Laying down didn't help and I woke up the next morning with the same feeling. The effects of the pill on Mr. Happy also lasted for a few days afterward - but so did the feeling.

Eventually, it went away and I felt fine. Will I continue using it? Of course! But not if I have something important to do afterward. For me, it will be much better to just go home and try to relax until the sick feeling finally passes. Maybe, as I get used to taking it, my body will adjust and I won't feel as sick. I don't know. Only time will tell.

If anything noteworthy happens, I will post again.

Yes, I might do that. It's all a matter of finding what works best.

Cialis is great. Stays active for days, so if you miss a booking one day it'll still be working the next day. Or you can go back to back for 3 days in a row.

Glad to hear your issue was solved. I'm 54, haven't needed those pills yet but I'm sure I will one day. It's nice to know they work so well, from everything I've read. But I'd be worried about the after-effects you mentioned with Cialis, so I'd definitely try Viagra first.
Anyway, glad to hear you're still going strong into your 60s, like many others here. I can relate to your desire to stay in shape and eat properly and all that to look presentable to ladies. That's also what motivates me so much to work out and watch my weight, something I never felt I needed to do when I was married or in my youth.
I had another wonderful session last night with my favorite GTA MPA, and even though these ladies are accustomed to seeing men in all shapes and sizes, I take a lot of pride in being in the upper percentile in terms of fitness.
Happy mongering.

I've never had any side effects from Cialis. Actually, I started on it not as an ED solution, but as a solution to the prostate problems. The stiffer penis, for me, is just a happy coincidence.

Interesting. What's the Cialis/prostate connection? Were you given a Cialis prescription specifically for prostate issues?
BHP-benign prostatic hyperplasia. It only took them almost two years to diagnose it and even then(after every test imagined including the camera in my dick- "you will feel a slight discomfort"), it was the best guess(another "best guess" was leukemia, but the blood work kept interfering). Cialis was kind of experiment, but, by Jove!, it cleared all the symptoms within two weeks and kept them gone ever since- almost 10 years, now.

I would say that I don't need "help" yet, but I am not as hard as I was in the past and I know that "help" is on the horizon date unknown.. These ED medications have probably put several million dollars into the MP and SP coffers, keeping guys in the game who would be otherwise out to pasture. The sex trade should give generous donations to the field of ED drug research. What if MP and SP gave out free Viagara or Cialis, this would be illegal, and dangerous for many guys with compromised health but does it happen in some jurisdictions ?

Low dose 2.5mg or 5mg tadalafil (cialis) has been approved to treat BPH. Usually dudes wanting it strictly for fun would take a higher dose more like 10mg.

I have an appointment with a urologist next week to review my meds and generally discuss performance impairment. I don't see many reports that are akin to my experience. Similar age to the OP; but also taking some hefty doses of T2 diabetes medications and hypertension meds. I've been able to restrict the meds to ones my doc and my own research say are supposed to be benign as related to erections. I've never tried tadalafil, but am a regular Viagra user. I find that w/o Viagra, I'm successful 90-95% with intercourse, but oral is a challenge. I would think it would be the opposite since I so love blowjobs So, unless I suspect a problem, I go without Viagra for intercourse and take 25mg for a blowjob. But with an SP, I start at 50mg because I don't want to take a chance of performance issues. (I recently had a trip to GTA that included six straight days of sex - I couldn't cum twice out of the six. Each of those was with an extremely well reviewed provider, so I think it was me, not them.) What I think is strange, and I hardly ever see addressed, is that my performance issue is usually not getting hard, but finishing. As best I can research, the medical community calls it "retarded" or "delayed" ejaculation. This is the topic I'm taking to the urologist, but I'm interested in hearing any tips from this community of experts for improved ejaculation.

Unfortunately, Cialis has such side effects. But as I know Viagra is even worth. However, every person is different and each drug can have different effect on everyone. Haven't you tried another drugs like Viagra or Letiva? You can read about different alteratives and find all info about them here. You can also consult a doctor for a different dosage. Good luck with it!

Just curious about whether others have had an experience similar to mine. I have no trouble getting an erection but sometimes it gets a little soft, especially during foreplay. The other day I took a quarter of a pill of Viagra and it worked great when I met my SB.

The part that I am curious about is that I also had this powerful desire for my SB and to have awesome sex with her. And it was awesome. I had not really expected Viagra to boost my desire and the quality of sex but it did.

Have others had this experience?

PS. The 1/4 pill was plenty for my situation …. just needed a little boost.

The blue pill 50mg works well for me. No side effects, just a throbbing erection that lasts for an hour or more. No more embarrassing moments for me.
It is a wonder drug for sure.

That's precisely why the pill was invented. Soft no more ..... as for increased desire, that is not expected. Quality of sex, yes. I do find similar result though, it makes me want more sex. Pretty sure that is a psychological effect not caused by the drug but experienced due to taking the drug and having great sex.

You may find if you use it regularly for a long time that 25 mg may need to slowly increased. Still, it is a great thing.

I am in my mid 60s, I take 2.5 mg cialis every day for BPH issues, having to get up to pee frequently at night. The cialis has been great, and also helps with erections. Even a low dose like that, taken every day, does make a difference. The only problem is my insurance does not cover it, even though it was prescribed for BPH.
