Imagine being such a retard that any kind gesture is automatically considered oppression.

Today someone inhaled air right next to me! I was waiting for those oxygen molecules! How rude!!

Chivalry is dead. Women killed it. Don't remember who said it.
Likewise, I held the door open for two women entering a mall and they breezed by me without any acknowledgement. I said, as they walked past me "pardon me?" The mother said." I didn't say anything." I said. "Oh I thought you said thank you". She screamed "I AM TALKING TO MY DAUGHTER"

I mean, I just hold the door for anyone, man or woman. It’s just being courteous. Guess I’m just a huge asshole.

I like to say a preemptive "you're welcome" when people don't say thank you when I hold the door for them.

Yup. Hold the door for everyone.
A 10-year-old girl and her mom were leaving the bank the other day and the girl held the door for me. I was thrilled that she had some basic manners.
I said a big "Thank you so much!"

Agreed. I hold the door open for anyone and many people hold a door open for me. I always say "thank you" and almost always receive a "thank you." I've heard stories about supposedly radical feminists getting angry about it (like the tweet referenced in the OP) but I sometimes wonder if that's urban legend intended to make feminists look bad because I've never experienced it or witnessed it. Sure there are people who aren't polite and don't say "thank you" or don't seem to care that you've done it, but I've never experienced the angry "I don't need a man to hold a door open for me" comment, or anything similar.
True...there are lots of fake accounts that play into ginned up fears of a variety of groups. The Russians ran a whole campaign allegedly of African Americans who were so sick of Hilary Clinton...and again, given the original tweeters name is "snowflake" spelled backwards i'm betting that is one of them. The NY Times had an article today about armies of online trolls pretending to be "the other side" and then play into various peoples fears. Like if pretended i was an african american and said if i dont get reparations im going to start robbing as many white people as i can find, or say i'm thinking of running for office as a democrat and the first thing is i'll do is confiscate all the guns...etc.

A while ago, I was about to enter an establishment at the same time when a group of 3 women were about to leave.

I opened the door and walked in, they expected me to hold the door open for them so they could leave before I entered, one of them made a comment.

I guess chivalry is not suppose to be dead.

Holding a door open for a woman is both chivalrous and provides an excellent opportunity to discretely check out her ass on the way by.

Chivalry is most definitely not dead, there are just more clueless bumpkins around. Might as well be writing them off from the first casual meet, instead of finding out later. There are more than enough woke pussies willing to exist under their non leather sandals.

Actually I find people becoming more courteous.

Now women also hold the door open for men, which is pretty nice.

Usually on a set of double doors in most cases where I have held the door open for women or men, they do the same for me on the second set.

I had one tart tell me that she could open the door herself. Told her relax, I do the same for guys, but you are the only rude person I ever held the door for. She called me an asshole as she walked away.

I love it when people mistake my kindness for weakness.

But aside from that single woman everyone is pretty friendly.
