Well if you throw in guys like Nastase, then in this era you could add in Murray and Wawrinka, they have 3 grand slam titles each.
She just killed it on Tim and Sid.
Comes off as very genuine and authentic.
I hope her team paces her just right so this doesn't overwhelm her too much. She's going to be scrutinised quite a bit now.

Watching CP24 she didnt even stop to sign a dozen autograph hunters who had waited for an hour outside her press conference.

Considering how crazy her life must have been since her win what, at first glance, seems like a very simple thing to do, may not have been such a minor task. I think she deserves some slack here and in light of that, the incident probably was not worth mentioning and criticizing her for. Just sayin'.

Video panned out fairly quickly but it looked like a dozen or so teenagers or young adults. It wasnt very many people.
One guy approached her while she was inside the car and she did quickly roll down the window to give him a scribble

Correct, had Rafael Nadal played with a wooden racquet, he'd have far fewer Slams under his belt.
I'm assuming that the age limit was successfully challenged by Corey Gauff's handlers. It was put in place to avoid the downfalls that happened to Martina Hingis and Jennifer Capriati. Both won Slams before they were 18 and both ended up enjoying the nose candy. They could have had longer careers had they stayed clean. Monica Seles was left emotionally scarred by the German attack, its taken her a very long time to recover. Part of the problem was that she could no longer serve with power.
That hasn't happened as much in the men's game, but they take longer to develop than women. Ilie Nestase and Pat Cash were known party animals but they kept it together enough to win Slams.

70's/80's tennis was the best, so many great characters, Connors, Mcenroe, Nastate , Gerulaitis, Tanner etc....
