Since when has it been racist to not try on a hijab? What would be said if a Muslim was asked to try on a crucifix necklace or do the sign of the cross?

Maybe its racist of a Jew to not eat pork after I offer them a bite of my rack of ribs?

Why is it considered racist to state an opinion on a topic? I thought we had freedom of speech? Black on black crime is real last time I checked.

The big issue I would love to ask a Lib/Dem is why do we have beauty pagents in a time where objectifying women is a crime instead of what the contestant has an opinion on!

None of the above is actually related to her title being taken from her.

She accepted an obligation to behave as the pageant directs, and as the pageant judges. She was warned, she persisted, she argued, she was punished.

The girl was clearly trying to build a podium for herself on social media as a right of centre influencer. She took partisan and "provocative" stances and attempted to build on her public position as Ms Michigan with her political posts in order to develop an internet presence.

The Ms America brand is bland, universally ultra inclusive and apolitical in everything except on the most uncontroversial and mainstream issues. The girl knew this. She was warned. She gave no shit because she will get more notoriety, money and PR as the girl who was kicked out of Ms America for wearing a MAGA hat than 1 of the 49 girls who tried and failed to win the title this year and then fell immediately into obscurity. This was all entirely predictable and the girl wanted it and played for it. She will try and extend her 15 minutes of fame into something more lasting and to cash in on this. Again entirely predictable.
