But really, he's done nothing for the people. He's killing or trying to kill healthcare, gave a tax break to billionaires, hasn't built a wall, is riding Obama's economy which is tottering due to his tariffs, put the deficit up to 1 trillion and is a total failure with foreign policy, including his mess in Israel. His only 'success' is in putting in enough hardcore right wing judges to open the debate on abortion again.
And really, he's using KKK slogans at his rallies now.
That's not going to win over any new voters.

In politics, perception is reality. The trick is to showcase the "Gang of Four" as the face of the Democratic party, especially since the "Gang" is so vocal and visible.

The part you're missing is that his supporters know very well what an incompetent, unworthy charlatan he is.
