Thanks for later adding the paragraph, which you now claim properly stated what your original did not. I'll stand by my teensy bit of interpretation of that quote as an accurate re-statement of what you had posted. But your interpretation of my quotes leaves a lot to be desired
If you had read the study, I wouldnt have had to post the paragraph to explain it to youThanks for later adding the paragraph, which you now claim properly stated what your original did not
I am single and what blows me away is the amount of garbage people put at the curb on garbage day. I put out 1 small plastic bag a week and my recycle every other week.My neighbour is single as well and she puts out a big bag every week and full recycle bins. How do people generate so much garbage?I am not a geophysicist and have not any training in the field. And I certainly do not trust anything that is coming from both sides of the political spectrum.
People who are more knowledgeable than I in Earth Sciences say it is way more complicated than the press is making it out to be.
I do however recognise we have a global pollution issue. And since I'm a big believer in ''individual sovereignty'' I will do my part to do whatever I can do to rectify the problem. So I have..
-Stopped using plastic bags for shopping and single use plastic altogether. Carry a knife, fork and spoon with me in the car or in a murse wherever I go.
-Stopped using my car unnecessarily. Go through a tank of gas per month now. Use the Go Train to go into the city almost elusively.
So I'll let both sides have at it with their usual vitriol. At least I know personally I'm doing my best. I wonder can everybody on here say the same?
Your prediction may not be too far off. Water and food (sea food in this case threatened by plastics) are two of the crucial elements for survival.I think those 2 things will affect the planet more.I bet dollars to dounuts that wars will be fought over fresh water supplies in the not to distant future.

Only thing that really bothers me is the state of our fresh water supply and the amount of plastic in our oceans.I think those 2 things will affect the planet more.I bet dollars to dounuts that wars will be fought over fresh water supplies in the not to distant future.
Good points. All my drinking water comes from The Water Store in my area. Get 3 of my big jugs filled every 3 weeks or so.Your prediction may not be too far off. Water and food (sea food in this case threatened by plastics) are two of the crucial elements for survival.
Oracle, tap water may be better for you than those juggs you buy, just Britta it. Our teeth rot away at a certain age, fluoridation actually helps us maintain dental health.Tap water tastes really off to me now, lol. I wanted to get away from the fluoridation.
LOL.....Sellers and his improvising. classic stuff.Oracle, tap water may be better for you than those juggs you buy, just Britta it. Our teeth rot away at a certain age, fluoridation actually helps us maintain dental health.

. I just thought I would give it go for 5 years or so and see if i notice a difference. See for myself.

Funny that the same people who think trace elements of fluoride could be harmful don't think trace elements of CO2 could also be harmful.LOL.....Sellers and his improvising. classic stuff.
Anyways I know there are arguments on both sides regarding Fluoridation. I just thought I would give it go for 5 years or so and see if i notice a difference. See for myself.

Now all you have left to explain is how you got your own study so wrong in the posts I quoted for you. Was it from not reading the study, the quotes or your own post?If you had read the study, I wouldnt have had to post the paragraph to explain it to you
Don't hold your breath, Phil can't actually read a full scientific paper or understand what its about. Now all you have left to explain is how you got your own study so wrong in the posts I quoted for you. Was it from not reading the study, the quotes or your own post?
Fluoride (NaF) is deemed safe at 1000 ppm or less. What if someone ingests more than that? How do we get a measurable dose? People just dont consume all the meds they want without a dosage do they?Funny that the same people who think trace elements of fluoride could be harmful don't think trace elements of CO2 could also be harmful.
Serious answer Sean. I started having autoimmune issues about 10 years ago.Using the same logic of having to "see for yourself", have you suffered any of the claimed adverse effects of 56 years of being exposed to flouride in Toronto's drinking water (since 1963)? Serious question.
