Google it yourselves, but this is a ridiculous move to replace an iconic character. Make the character another '00'. There were many of them.

They might as well make Jesus Christ himself a fucking Samurai.

So far it's just rumors. If it's true she won't be James Bond. Rather she fills the role of agent 007. Perhaps they kill off James Bond in Craig's last movie .

This outrage is really fucking dumb, even by internet outrage standards. It’s also hilarious that the outrage is generally coming from the same crowd that mocks those who get upset about Egyptian historical figures being played by white actors and shit like that.

The theater going consensus was for Tom Hardy as 007 but he said he wouldn't do if Nolan didn't direct it.

Let's face it 007 is incredibly stale, they need to do something bold. I like the idea of a black female 007...Kerry Washington would be perfect.

Its clearly a move to get publicity and i find it bothering. Yes its totally possible when 007 retires (in the fiction) that another agent would get the number. If we follow logic there can be only nine 00 agents at the same time, so logically when one fall, another would rise. So i get THAT, and no she ain't "Jane Bond" in a remake. But the way they handled it, the way they make a fuss about it scream poltical correctness and forced diversity so badly.

Nah, don't really give a shit. They can make Thor into the next 007, i just don't like the story lines. Too dark for the summer entertainment. They turned light, action packed escapism into a fucking Greek tragedy.
