I am returning to TO this coming week. When I was last here I met up w a few Fellow terb guys to have a beer and share a story.

Looking to do the same.

Bar is not picked but was looking at sports bar DT but please recommend a place that you believe would be a good joint.

Looking to do this Friday night the 19th or Sat the 20th depending on most interest.

Just a few stories and some beers. Was fun last time.

Do you want to meet at a ripper? Million dollar is good or if you want a bar there is a bunch around the airport

Can we try to find a place closer to DT. That is where I am staying. Strip club not necessary. But whatever works.

As mentioned in a previous post I've done the same w my fellow perverts er uh appreciators of lovely women. Some advice based on experience...SC is fun, but if you're wanting to yabber on about this biz sometimes it gets a bit loud and hard to converse (and ladies popping buy asking for drinks or dances, but sometimes if you're witty and fun they'll just sit on your lap and talk). Once a handful of us met at a Kelseys and and another time at a similar type place that was easier to chat and laugh and trade war stories lol. I've done it w groups ranging from 3 to 10 blokes. Be prepared that you may know one of these guys (I don't live in gta so I don't worry about that). The group is usually people I've chatted w online or exchanged pm's or had fun exchanges on the board.

Joeys really? I mean it's ok but so many better places downtown. Hot wait staff are a dime a dozen downtown. Just go to Regulars on King if you want hot 20 something wait staff and the beer selection is 10 times better. But hey at least you aren't going to an overpriced downtown strip club.

NP. I would say Regulars if you want sports and hot girls (both staff and patrons) and a good selection of beer. Food is ok nothing spectacular. If you want a cool place with amazing beer and sports try Maverick on Bathurst near Adelaide. It's a small craft brewery with a bar/restaurant attached to it. The Wheat Sheaf is my local. Small but a great place to sit having a few with a good selection of beer and great staff ( no super hot staff though sorry). I wouldn't mind going depending on the day.

or even "The Blue Oyster"

God, I miss the Silver Dollar.

There was a saying that you couldn't say you had made it as a musician in Toronto until you had at least one Dan Burke, the former booker at the Dollar, story.

I believe yesterday (July 14th) was the Sheaf's last day until renovations are completed. Projected completion date is 3 month from now.
