Warren pledges to create commission to investigate 'crimes committed by the United States against immigrants'

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Saturday that she will create a commission to investigate "crimes committed by the United States against immigrants" if she is elected president.

“On my first day, I will empower a commission in the Department of Justice to investigate crimes committed by the United States against immigrants,” she said at the progressive Netroots Nation conference.

Warren accused President Trump of looking the other way at abuse, but said she will not do so.

“To anyone out there who’s working in this system, understand you abuse immigrants, you physically abuse immigrants, you sexually abuse immigrants, you fail to get them medical care that they need, you break the law of the United States of America and Donald Trump may be willing to look the other way, but President Elizabeth Warren will not,” she said.

She also said that we need to treat those who come to the U.S. "with humanity and we need to follow the law."

Warren this week unveiled her immigration plan which included designating a Justice Department task force to investigate accusations of medical neglect and physical and sexual assault and "give it independent authority to pursue any substantiated criminal allegations."

"Let there be no ambiguity on this: if you are violating the basic rights of immigrants, now or in the future, a Warren administration will hold you accountable," she wrote in a Medium post.

Warren is among two dozen people seeking the 2020 presidential nomination.

I think the majority of the American border guards are ethnic Latinos. Apparently, they were saying to the migrants in Spanish: 'Do not come any closer, you are not welcome."

Warren will alienate many American Latino voters if she keeps bashing the American Latino border guards. She might have forgotten that illegal migrants don't vote.

This is what the Dem's are praying for. Allow limitless amount of migrants to come in. Give them all free stuff paid by the taxpayer. And then rig the voting machines. They're a bunch of evil hardcore Communists that want to destroy what is left of America just like they've done to Europe and are doing here in Canada. That's why there are paid for trolls all over social media. To try and take back the narrative. But they've already lost. We just have to keep exposing the truth and then they'll whither up and die so mankind can finally move forward.

I believe the number under Obama was 5 million deported and about 100000 kids seperated and caged according to govt documents. That's over eight years.

Trump for his first two years deported a bit under 500,000. No stats for kids available but I would presume about on par as a percentage of intake.

So will Obama be called in to this new Nuremberg? And Biden as well?

Well...I would begin by suggesting that the only reason trump’s numbers have not far surpassed Obama’s is due to trump’s complete incompetence at the task of actually governing. God help us all if trump was actually able to stay off Twitter and pay attention to doing his job.

Beyond that, though, it’s not just the deportations themselves- it is the purpose for which they are being done. Trump is deliberately inflicting harm on immigrants that are detained...including their children. Obama is Guilty of caging children for a brief window of time...there was a public outcry over it by the Dems and Obama quickly put the practice to a stop. Trump, on the other hand, takes sadistic pleasure on harming POC and using this abuse to try to frighten away other migrants.

Moreover, the deportations and abusive detention practices are just the tip of the iceberg. We have the Muslim ban. We have the “many fine” White Nationalists of Charlottesville. It’s all part of trump’s vision of a white ethnoState...and ICE are his Storm Troopers. Anybody who works for ICE at this point is either morally bankrupt or a Nazi.

Except the facilities for cages have been around for decades. As have the contracts to run them. Bill Clinton deported 13 million. Bush in the 10 range.

The laws have also been in place for decades and enforced as such. They were created and implemented by Biden and his ilk.

I’m not here to say Obama was perfect...but when the problem of putting children in cages was brought to his attention he put a stop to it. Trump, on the other hand, doubles down and revels in it. There is no comparison between the two.

The other part of your Tweet is entirely true imho. Americans have used “illegal” immigrants largely to replace slave labour and were happy to do so. The problem now, though, is that these people have been having children in the US who are now coming of age to vote and the Right is shitting its adult diaper.
