The leadership still gets rich while everyone else just gets reduced to poverty....and the leadership blames it on someone else. Look at Cuba....Castros worth billions while "the people" live in shit. USSR....the party leaders are rich as hell and the average person can't get toilet paper. Just because you don’t know what goes on at those meetings doesn’t mean there’s something nefarious going on. These are rich, powerful people exchanging sensitive information, of course security is going to be tight and information will be restricted. You conspiracy types sure are paranoid.

Tony Blair attended in 1993. Became Prime Minister 1997–2007
Margaret Thatcher attended in 75' 77' andf 76. Became PM in 1979-1990
Gordon Brown attended in 1991. Became PM in 2007
Hillary Clinton attended in 1997. She ran twice for President.
Angela Merkel attended in 2005. Same year she won the election to be Chancellor. She was at the meeting in June. She won in November of the same year a few months after the meeting.
