I know that divorce/being single has allowed me to grow so much more as an individual than I ever could have as a spouse.

Alimony: Why do adults have to pay for an adult to look after themselves again? I get the 'protection' of the 50s-era housewife, but most women work nowadays. I've never understood this and I fear this lifetime anchor greatly.

I have zero problems looking after my kids. (But I am shocked when I hear guys even have to pay for another guys' kids that were brought into the now-failed marriage)

Amen to that brother. I lost 40 pounds, getting back in shape, fucking like a banshee, happy as a pig in shit :) its amazing how much a bad relationship sucks out of you AND NOT IN GOOD WAY :)

It's unsafe for any guy to get married now. It's unsafe for any child to not have both a dad and a mom, always has been.
Now go get married and have kids. The rest was created by nasty people, better people will fix it.
