Kawhi kept his promise, he attended Caribana. A number of NBA players showed up for it. There may be others, LBJ and Lonzo Ball attended and Shaq of course. Shaq is part Jamaican on his mother's side. Kawhi didn't attend Drake's OVO Party he probably went to Shaq's after party.

I don't know if Carmelo can be had at the league minimum, but I'm wondering whether Masai can get him in our lineup without messing up our finances or giving up any of our real prospects for the future. It seems we're currently built around defense. Stanley Johnson comes in with a rep, along with Lowry, Gasol, Siakam, Van Vleet, as well as Norm and OG. What we're missing is some instant offense, even if its just for 15minutes a game. Do you think Carmelo could be the gamble Ujiri makes to get us back to an ECF?

Carmelo would attract attention offensively. We have enough defense to cover his shortcomings. He's been off so long that he must be humbled by now and know he'll have to accept a possible roll player bench spot. If he can fit in and understand that he may have to move the ball to stay on the court, especially when he's hot and give it up to an open shooter.......

Wonky: remember who traded Melo initially, it was Ujiri. Denver to NY because he wasn't happy in Denver, and then he wasn't happy in NY....get the picture? What has he ever won? Ton of talent, just never able to get the job done. Don't think any of the teams that he left were sorry to see him go. Personally, if someone signs him, I hope it is anyone but the Raptors!
I keep hoping to hear of a signing that will be some sort of a Leonard replacement, so far nothing! One hell of a hole to fill. In effect Leonard and Green are gone as are DeRozan and Pertle. Got a trophy but also got some voids.

Carmelo will never play an NBA game again.

I forgot Ujiri knows him best. Well then let's trust he'll make the right decisions as always.
