I remember an incident when I was in my mid-twenties. I was at a restaurant and at the next table was a good looking guy with a squirrely woman. He was in the top 15% as far as appearance and good looks, she was nervous and did not dress well and was plain in looks. She seemed to have little experience being in public. My guess was that she was glad to be out with someone, and he was out to get some sex even if he had to go below his league to get it.

The greater point is how the 'Foodie Call' translates into other relationships/arrangements we observe. Many men come to TERB and visit escorts because their sex life at home is in shambles. Their wives don't want to have sex, even though everything else about the marriage is going great. The man is perplexed. Why does she not want sex? Because she never actually cared about the relationship nor did she ever enjoy the sex - but she wanted the house, the car, and the vacations. Once she secured the latter, the role that sex played was no longer necessary. Sex was to lure you in and trap you. She never liked you. She only liked what you could offer her, and now she tolerates you (or enjoys your company as she would a friend), but has no interest in intimacy. Do you know how difficult it would be to have sex with someone that you're not attracted to for years on end?

Your biases is showing again. You placed a value judgement on this thread in your first post by calling dates-for-sex and dates-for-food as "shitty" behavior. I never made any such claim. The post stands on its own merits. It's simply information to help others make dating decisions. If you're dating a random sampling of women and go on dinner dates, you may have a 33% chance or higher that she's just interested in dinner. Whether that's right or wrong is up to every individual to decide for themselves. Every woman with a brain knows there is a 99.9% chance that a guy taking her out on a date wants sex - it doesn't mean they're going to give it to him, and it doesn't necessarily make him a bad person for wanting it.
