I thought so too, until Hebsy was on the Toronto Mike podcast a few months ago and said that was completely false.
Yeah.....I mean I couldn't picture them not liking each other because their air chemistry seemed so genuine, but I head a long time ago and seemed to be the popular opinion so I just accepted it as true.

CNN banks on that theory but I digress,

I will miss Bob. I really enjoyed the flow to this show and his interviews.

Last week listening during his time slot just seemed to drab and unfulfilling. Probably because I'm not a Jeff Blair i guess.

Does digress mean politicizing everything? That is the only thing you did.

There's the Politics Forum. Leave it there because this is totally inappropriate.

Take a breath Eddie......Breathe

Okay now that Eddie has chilled out.

Bob's interviews with Burt Sugar were perhaps my favourite. The knowledge that man had about boxing was astounding and bob knew just how to lead him.

Jim shaky hunt and Jim kelly were also excellent co hosts who brought much insight to the show. Sadly all have passed.

Dan Shulman's duties with ESPN have changed.

He left ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball to run the International broadcast for MLB and he's hired Buck as his co-host. They broadcast the All-Star Game and the World Series outside of the USA. He also has a full time gig with NCAA basketball.

Since he's not part of the American broadcast anymore, that gives him more time for the Jays.

He left ESPN Sunday Night Baseball so he could spend more time with his new wife.

They're just doing it this week. Blair was never named as a replacement. They just had different rotating guys filling in until they've figured out what they wanted to do with that time slot. J.D and Ben will be back to the 1PM time slot next week.

I can see PTS disappearing, Blair is , at best, OK. These two guys are write offs. Tried to watch but gave up.

The bobcat was and is the best broadcaster in sports radio in Toronto.
The guys they have on there right now replacing him are OK and that is the best thing I can say about them.
He was apparently making about $1 million per year and they just could not afford him anymore.
Hopefully he will reappear somewhere else very soon.

There is a wild rumour he and some partners are working on getting a new radio station.

Bobcat on Sirius, that would be great. Jim Rome is a repetitive crashing bore.

Currently Sid is King, Forca Portuguese Lothario! He's going to be fat after his Italian vacation.

I can see Sid on the beach at Formia with his distended belly and the German tourists swooning over him.

Time passed by the Bobcat, he didn't seem to know what he was talking about half the time, I don't think he put the time in anymore, I stopped listening to him anymore especially when he had John Shannon on, He knows his hockey but when he talked about any other sport he was clueless, Hayes, Noodles and the O-dog are much better, O-Dog is just as clueless about any other sport but hockey but at lest he's funny
