We've put up with Don Cherry's buffoonery for how many decades? I find Tim and Sid entertaining and their ratings don't lie, they're very popular with Millenialls. Writer's Bloc is a good segue to them, Jeff Blair is better than I expected, I make time when Steven Burnt is part of the dais. Burnt's segments with Tim and Sid are priceless.

Kevin Barker is an oaf, he took exception to being ribbed by Sid. It's a sign of camaraderie, if Donnovan Bennett and Faizal Khamisa took that attitude they'd be permanently pissed. Didn't know Faizal Khamisa battled cancer, the actual head shave is on Sportsnet.

If because of their push from Tim and Sid that they got their own show. Donnovan Bennett still shows up on CBCNN.

Daniele Michaud has co hosted several times when Tim or Sid are off.

Does that mean someone who enjoys a discussion that is intellectually stimulating with people who have proper command of the English language as opposed to, as others have pointed out, bells, whistles, horns, and yelling as a way to make their phoney outrage seem less, uh, phoney?

BTW, you're entitled to like them. It just means that you and I have different tastes in terms of sports talk shows. My fave is still PTI. Knowledgeable, well spoken, they know how to turn a phrase, to the point and they do not take themselves too seriously. It is light-hearted enough to make every show a fun 30 minutes.

I'm glad, I've been following Nolan's career since she was a bartender in Boston. She tried her hand at stand up comedy but it wasn't for her. She now has Always Late on ESPN and is the host of NFL Films.

I have been following the Aussie Open and Brad gilbert is making it tough. As a play by play he never shuts up even when the ball is in play. In the post match chat he is over bearing. Patrick McEnroe got pretty irritated with him yesterday. Please, fire his ass.

Rogers removed "Annoying Ashley" Docking from the morning show on Thursday, only 8 days before her contract was due to expire. I've met her a couple times (friend of a friend), and she's very much an attention whore who never shuts up. It gets worse after a couple drinks too.

To be honest, both of the sports channels are shit. It would seem that they mostly consist of people shooting shit and/or showing plays of the month. Why would anyone watch that? Are there no other sports disciplines beyond hockey, basketball, football and baseball? Would it kill them to transmit some ski jumping, maybe some downhill or anything, really, instead of the incessant verbal diarrhea that means absolutely fuck all? With the Leafs sucking so badly, I'm on the verge of adjusting my cable package and dropping the sports all together.

the only reason I tuned in was Ashley. I find Mike and Hugh boring lol.

They all try that, and ratings seem to tell them it's not worth it.
