why so many sp work in airport area vs north york/markham?

From the ladies I know, they simply do better around the airport. That's where the business is, so that's where they go. I live far, far from the airport but I head there regularly to see my favourite lady because that's where she works the most often. Downtown is in second place, but is more of a pain with the traffic and parking costs.

Yes for us business travellers the airport is by far the most convenient. Even on a layover I can make it into a literal "lay over" lol...

The airport area seems nicely centralized and easier to get to for more people than North York/Markham.

Also I've heard ladies say that downtown attracts "weirder" clientele, but I'm not sure.

1000’s of hotel rooms close to the airport means lots of single travellers away from home. Ladies will go to the business.

I live within five minutes of a GO Train station; considering the GO Train runs at least every 30 minutes on the Lakeshore line 365 days a year, I find it easier to go downtown than the airport.

And I don't think I'm that "weird"

north York is a great area to work.

It’s little more quiet then other areas and if

U find the right place for u and them.

Then clients are happy to make the trip

Airport area is the best...
there is no downtown horrid traffic
for automobile owners.
Downtown is horrid!!!!

North York/Markham is 2nd choice.
Downtown is a no-no for me.

Exactly. Business travelers, conferences etc, plus its easier to get to.. lots of hotels, so lots of rooms. Who likes going DT? If you work there with the exception of lunchtime, it's hard to leave the office mid afternoon, and after work it's time to get home.

It is easy to figure out. Ladies are going to go where the money is. It is not in North York or Markham.

Then why do they bother with North York and Markham, at all? If what you say is true, there would be zero SPs in North York and Markham.

Downtown is bearable if you take the Up Express in to Union station. You can get a special return trip pass if you're staying less than 7 hours or something like that so you get RT for the price of one-way. I think around $12ish. That is cheaper than parking DT.

No. That is not how the market works.

There is money to be made but not enough to go around. With the locals and agencies, most of the market is dry. So why would more ladies go there? They won't because there is no money in it for them.

Same with Durham. Guys are too cheap and the ones that are not, already use us locals.


EDIT: Sorry, I thought he meant why do most girls travel to airport over Markham/North York. I wasn't including locals in that but I see he actually didn't make a distinctio between local and touring. So my bad.

Which was at the heart of my recent post (which I can't seem to attach here) called Just Wondering: A Moni Rant (should have read Mini Rant) that noted how difficult, time-consuming, and costly for visitors staying DT without a car to get to the airport, let alone any of the hotels in its vicinity. Do understand why it's a logical location. It just doesn't work for me. Neither does Markham, for that matter. And that shortens the bench, so to speak.

Lots of hotel rooms available to work out of, and cost of them is a lot less. Those rooms also contain thousands of clients. Lots of people work around there. Airport is at the intersection of 3 400 series highways so easy to get there.

It is because I prefer the airport.

On a more serious answer, I think it is easier to deal with a hotel who knows whats up vs. Condo's at NY or Markham

They get special rates on rooms rather than having to throw down a ton of cash to buy a place.

Couple that with proximity to 2 highways, heavy business traffic, and it is still convenient enough for folks out in mississisauga, brampton, oakville, and vaughan to get to vs. Ny or mkm

But too much business at the airport also attracts the pimps and LE.

No traffic issues downtown, Uber or walk. Lots of options within walking distance or short uber /taxi ride from Financial District.

Could also be the agency that was fucking around other workers. I heard they would set up fake bookings and then once they found out the hotel and room #, they would call the hotel management and make a complaint of sexual work in the hotel.

And the Monte Carlo on woodbine, loves to take bookings from sex workers because they watch the rooms and as soon as you have a client, they kick you out without your deposit or room fee. If you booked on Priceline or another hotel booking site, they just keep all the cash.

I think its a business decision . I have known mwny sp,s that start out in markham and shortly after they relocate and never come back. Its very annoying for us markham residents. but i think if we supported them more they will visit more often.
