@insidious von. Perhaps Netflix has it if not look for it online or perhaps a place like Pacific mall may have DVDs of the seasons.

Re: north American audiences. I totally agree. With all the comic book movies now fans just want to park their brains. I do it too sometimes last time was for John wick 3 but I also want to see something well done once in a while.

The author of gommorah he is still under police protection all these years after that movie (2008).

Iris, I haven't seen Bad Blood. Is it faithful to the Rizzutto crime family story?

Chappelle's Show is absolute genius, it's still controversial and wildly hysterical today. Obviously that level of inspiration could not be maintained, Dave Chappelle burned out.

Yes, it's the Rizutto story. Kim Coates performance is amazing!
The Soup Nazi says, "i am an artist, I can't expect anything less from Kim Coates". Even when Sons of Anarchy got silly, he remained consistently great.

These three should make a film together.

Justified is one of the best shows to come out since The Sopranos. They shows legacy has grown to such an extent that Quentin Tarantino is reuniting Timothy Olyphant (Raylan Givens) and Damon Harriman (Dewey Woods) for his latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Also, another alum, Stephen Root is killing it in Barry.

I'm giving a special mention to the wierd and wonderful Doom Patrol. E10 is the best episode of the entire series and one of the best of any show. Timothy Dalton takes center stage, imho one of the best 007, in a story that Robert Service would have written. Niles Caulder (Dalton) is exploring in the Yukon when he is attacked by a pack of hungry wolves. He is saved from certain death by an apparition. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself in the company of a lone Indian woman. She nurses him back to health and he falls in love with her. He's is planning to make a life with her when she demonstrates her power. She conjures the Native Spirit God Manitou. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the first time that the Algonquin "Great Diety" has ever appeared in filmed entertainment?

Should you visit Manitoulin Island, show respect. Manitou doesn't exist, if he did us Europeans would be fucked! Robert Service, chronicler of the Yukon Gold Rush, passed away in 1958.

In Ecstacy
Treme - excellent series (maybe 3 years, set in New Orleans after Katrina)
Strike Back - cool show about an American and Englishman saving the world from bad guys - lots of guns and a few really hot chicks
Ozark - A money man for the mob is forced to launder money or his family will die

New show from the producers of Banshee called Jett, starring the still very hot Carla Cugino.

She plays a professional thief working for two mob bosses one played by Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad fame. The storyline is complex with a look of Sergio Leone's A Fist Full of Dollars. Carla Cugino is the star but leggy Dutch actress Geite Jansen is a scene stealer. She is Jett's associate whom she met in prison. She plays Phoenix, a ditzy call girl who is far more resourceful than she lets on. As the series progresses the relationship between Jett and Phoenix will be developed. Extremely sexy show with lots of birthday suits, well worth the time.

Ms. Jansen made her English language debut as a seasonal character on Peaky Blinders. I find it hard to believe that it's the same actress.

This was a PULP show at its best but entertaining none the less if you are willing to suspend belief.
That's what sells these days moris66, Quentin Tarantino's films are entirely based on pulp.

I had a tougher time suspending my disbelief for Game of Thrones than Banshee. I couldn't stand the dragons, Jon Snow's resurrection and Emilia Clarke's acting...although Drogon redeemed himself by melting the Iron Throne.

I'm going to feel dirty again by Tarantino's latest film, which could be his most amoral. And yet his films are so addictive!

Banshee is a tough act to follow but Jett could be a sleeper hit for Cinemax/HBO. Carla Cugino and Geite Jensen are not afraid of their birthday suits.

Geite's cowgirl scene is hysterical, I had to watch it again. She's giving a nightclub owner a ride while singing a tone deaf version of Blondie's The Tide is High. You have to be good to sing that bad. lol

rewatching Dix Percent (Call My Agent) on netflix. Wonderful French farce - the Christopher Lambert joke is set up in season 1 and then only paid off in season 2.

Love how these French movie stars play versions of themselves - like Episodes.
