Solid advice from Euro Male, I would take it!

Just lift, get a pump and get the blood flowing.
The compound lifts, Squat, Deadlift, Bench and OHP in that order should cover everything, and don't forget your cardio 10 min before to warmup and 10 min after to cool down - remember cardio kills gains!
Just don't over do it, and save some energy for the fun!

Supplements are a meme if you are a healthy adult and have a good diet.
Also keep in mind age can very a lot here, those "hobbying a lot" may be much younger.
