Saskatoon police are investigating a disturbing video that appears to show a group of young boys swarm and repeatedly attack a woman at a park playground.
The video shot shows what appears to be at least four boys kicking and punching a woman, who then falls to the ground. The attack continues as she tries to protect herself.
Some other boys can be seen and heard laughing in the background as the woman struggles to fight off several of the attackers pummeling her. She eventually manages to get up and walk away after the boys eventually disperse.

News Story

Apparently she told the boys to stop throwing rocks and started recording them. Then this is what they do.

Scary how some kids are going up these days.

Absolutely disgusting. Those kids like ganging up and beating up on people should get a public beating. It's shocking that nobody else in the park bothered to intervene.

A good samaritan who came to the aid of a woman being abused got stabbed on Spadina south of Bloor earlier to-day. Being a good samaritan has its risks.

Just saw a video on CTV News of teenagers(?) shooting fireworks at cars in North York(?).

I'm so on the fence about people who stand around recording video instead of helping. You see it so often now. Part of me agrees that it needs to be done for all of us to see what our world is truly like, for example, LE abuse videos.

In this video, I think anyone who got involved would have been getting hit as well. NOt to mention the possible fear of charges for smacking a kid because trust me, I would be smacking back.

This is the pussified generation...I grew up in a childhood where staying out late, doing mischief can get you switched by mom. We were raised by our mom who was compassionate and at the same time would dish out the punishment where it is due and on top of that...she always give us this threat like..."you're lucky I'm the one who found out and not your dad"...which always gives us the shivers....never tasted punishment from our dads because of this...we were always get checked by the matriarch...there are methods to this...when my son was 8 and threw a fit right after xmas...I wrapped back his nintendo and returned it...no threat...just wrapped it, drove to bestbuy and returned it...it took him about a month to figure out I ain't playing around with that kind of bullshit from a kid...He knew then who decides what in the household...and he never got that nintendo back until he was 10.

Why you guys gotta make everything political? It has nothing to with right vs. left. My parents are lifelong liberals, were hippies back in the day, went to Woodstock, I still got spanked when I was being a little shit. Hell, my dad would give me the ol’ mouth full of soap if I swore. I know this is a radical concept, but maybe, just maybe, a person’s political affiliation doesn’t define their identity and there are good people as well as complete fucking morons/lunatics on both sides.

Also maybe knock off the whole “this generation is a lost cause” thing. Literally every generation in history has said that about the next generations. There were dudes in Ancient Greece complaining about how the kids are listening to the Aristotle garbage nowadays, or how those damned liberal Athenians are making everyone into pussies (you know they wouldn’t have stood for that shit in Sparta!).

Saw this video. I go to Saskatoon about 4 times a year. My wife's family is from there. I could say something, but it would bring more heat then it's worth. Video did not surprise me in the least.Next

Irony is, kids that have been beaten by parents as punishment are far more likely to engage in this behaviour. There are other more effective ways to teach kids not to be monsters to other humans.

13 year old girl arrested for assault.

The other kids have been identified but can't be arrested because they are under 12.

Video was taken on his cellphone by a refugee to Canada.

Liberal lefty parents would never discipline their kids. That is something only "Tiger Moms" and right wingers do.
That is bullshit. Right wingers have their issues disciplining their children just like left wingers do. Take your Donald Trump ass on outta here with that crap.

Who's the idiot recording and not helping
They guy said he's not a citizen, and could have gotten deported if some how, he was charged and stuff for assaulting the kids.

Now, from what I read, the women said she was going to show the cops the footage so they'd better watch it or something. That led to that response. Of course it's wrong, but you don't go around instigating a mob. The best IMO she should have done was to tell them to stop, but not record. She's a Millennial so she's grown up with that reaction of filming. If she was closer to 40, she wouldn't have as likely.

The kids came back and accused this recorder of calling the cops. He showed them his call history and it wasn't there so they took off. Too bad the women's husband wasn't there though as one male adult could have easily whooped these little poop heads.

Where I come from, the adults would have taken these kids behind the barn and teach them a lesson in civility. Of course, disciplining kids nowadays is considered child abuse. Kids to-day know how to "game the system". They know the law can do nothing if they are under 12.

I'm not sure but it appears that there is also a racial undertone to this story as well.

These days both mom and dad work full-time, which makes their interactions with their kids less sporadic and less effective, in that both parents are stressed and worn out at the end of the day. I know I sound like one of those religious folks from a few decades ago where they blame the breakdown of the family unit for every problem with society, but I'm actually starting to think they have a point.
